Yunteng Hotel

Had a really great stay! The price wasn't too bad for a May Day holiday, and it's not far from Tiananmen Square. Although the room was a bit small, it was well-equipped and perfect for a solo traveler.

I didn't finish my dinner out, so I got a roasted duck to go. That evening, I asked a staff member to put it in the hotel's fridge. The next morning, when checking out early, I asked the staff to retrieve the roasted duck for me. When they brought it back, I noticed the packed duck wasn't cold from the fridge at all. Later, on the train, I was about to eat it but sniffed it first and realized it smelled bad. It was clear that the roasted duck I had asked them to put in the fridge had never actually been put in there. It's hard to imagine, but if I hadn't smelled it before eating, I surely would have gotten sick. Can your staff be trusted? Did they deceive a customer? Please investigate.

Found this place online and was really happy with it. The room was clean and a good size, very comfortable. I was also impressed with the shampoo and conditioner; they were much nicer than what you usually find in hotels. The soy milk and Pu-erh tea at breakfast were delicious, and you can order food downstairs in the lobby at night.

Great location, nice environment, and the breakfast service was warm and welcoming.
