Reviews of CitiGO Hotel Beijing Qianmen Street

Nice hotel in a great location, but walkable and near the subway. Friendly staff and ample breakfast choices.

We stayed in Beijing 5 nights but tried 2 different hotels just to enjoy & compare their quality & services. We like CitiGo Hotel as the design is modern & contemporary. Initially there was a small issue during check in. After we raised the issue politely, they looked into the matter immediately and resolved. We thank their quick response and willing to take in responsibility. Genuinely love their attitude. Overall the room is very comfortable, good quality front desk services especially the one served us. Sorry that I did not recall her name but I would like convey my appreciation to her. One extra surprise is the hotel provide simple supper on 10-11pm if you include the breakfast. Very yummy dumplings. 😁 One suggestion on the shower room of the loft 1st floor: hotel please consider to install a shower screen (plastic type) to prevent the water splashing to the toilet cubical side. Due to both cubical are joined together, after shower the toilet cubical is wet and inconvenience to use. Hope there is such improvement and it does not big renovation.  I will certainly be a repeat customer when I visit Beijing.

This place made us feel like home. The location is superb, hotel lobby is warm and inviting.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and warm. One of the ladies at reception even helped me pay for the loan of the battery pack first using her own money. The self service laundry was great and free of charge. All the detergent was automatically loaded into the washer when in use. Free Drinks were provided in the lobby and free check out gifts were given to us. Breakfast was good. The aircon in the room for the first few night’s were not working and we had to ask for a fan at midnight despite opening the window. Location was superb.

Thank you to all the staff at the at hotel everyone was beyond kind, lovely and helpful. I can’t recommend this hotel enough Vivian was especially very helpful Love the location and everything about it

Good service and near subway

Great service and excellent location. They even give dumplings at night and water to go and even sweets for the journey! They even give free laundry services!

All perfect, no comment. The position, attitude of the staffs are very good! Highly recommended

Overall stay was great, the room layout was big and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was nice, and service was great! Especially Sara, she was very helpful and genuine.

A hotel not to be missed, if one plans to stay at Qianmen or 前门。The venue - Qianmen itself is a tourist spot, thus when one steps out of the entrance of the hotel, you will immediately get into an environment filled with traditional Beijing ambience. Then the room that I stayed is large with functional layout and cosy L-shaped sofa. The breakfast choices were plenty and the wanton supper was so handy especially in the chill winter night. The staff was very helpful. Two staff: Jac & Vivian, both use their hp to help us booked tourist venues and made purchase through "*******" when we lost our gloves. Vivian told us she will inform us to go to collect from the counter when the gloves arrived, but in the end, she sent the gloves to my room via the robot (as the attached picture). Such service is world class. We will go back to this hotel, should we go to Qianmen again.

Service was excellent as the staff was eager to please. Very good location and hotel has free supper!

Room type was perfect for 3 pax family given that there are 2 toilets. However, we were given the first level right next to the recep, which means we could hear all the noises. Sound proofing was also… almost non existent since you could hear everyone walking pass & banging the doors, and even their conversation. It was winter, so there’s a centralised heater in the hotel, if you were to turn on the heater, it gets even warmer especially for the person staying on the second level of the loft. Thus, the only way to solve this was to open the window, and given that we are staying on first level, it means we are opening the window to the main street and have another source of noise coming through as people walk pass. There seems to be some sewage smell too, and daily room cleaning doesn’t seem like room was cleaned. Felt like only towels & floor mats were replaced and that’s it. All in all, room was perfect for 3 pax travellers but just not the greatest that it’s on the first level. Had a really hard time sleeping the entire week. Would probably be better if we were not on first floor. Location is convenient.

Ok is not too bad for everything n it might be better if they have bigger rooms to choose from

Check in can be early .location is good ,nearby train station.Room is small even though we booked bigger room.maybe include the balcony?room have cigarette smell specially the toilet .don’t have safety box .breakfast and supper wanton is good .overall okay
