Chongwenmen Hotel（Near metro,Tian’anmen Square,Wangfujing,Forbidden city And Temple of heaven）

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's right outside Metro Lines 2 and 5, making it so easy to get anywhere! There are large shopping malls and stores nearby for easy shopping, plus plenty of shops and a huge variety of dining options right in the subway station! Our family stayed for 5 consecutive nights in a suite. The inner bedroom had two single beds, and the outer living room had a sofa that the staff folded out into a legit 1.5-meter double bed 👍👏—it easily accommodated all four of us. The facilities are a bit dated and the bathroom is on the smaller side, but it was totally manageable. They even have robot delivery service, which is such a nice touch; within two or three minutes of the delivery driver calling, the robot had strolled right up to our door 👍👍 The staff made up the room and cleaned every day, and they even changed our bedsheets midway through our stay. Truly wonderful! Will definitely stay here again next time 😄😄

I grew up in this area, so I stayed a night for some nostalgia. The hotel is located in a prime central area, making transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. Although the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene conditions are excellent, and the service is also quite good, especially in the details. For example, they provided four bottles of mineral water, and the pillows were buckwheat-filled, which were very comfortable. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money, and I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.

The service at Chongwenmen Hotel is absolutely superb! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly well taken care of. The concierge proactively greeted me and handled my luggage, while the front desk efficiently processed my check-in and patiently answered all my questions. Room service was prompt and thorough with cleaning, providing attentive care throughout my stay. The hotel's ambiance is luxurious and elegant, with excellent facilities, but the service truly elevates the experience, making for a very reassuring and comfortable stay. It's definitely my top choice for hotels when visiting Beijing!

The first three pictures are the hotel's promotional photos on Ctrip, followed by the actual photos. It's old, small, and we were assigned a room on the top floor. In the evening, the hot water pressure was so low, we couldn't even take a shower. There wasn't even a proper table and chairs; our luggage had to be placed on the floor between two small stools. Even stranger, the bathtub was old and dilapidated and directly faced a mirror, and the so-called shower curtain could only be pulled halfway. What kind of setup is this? This hotel has left a very bad impression of Beijing on me.

I was delighted that my room was upgraded to a suite. The separate living room was very spacious and bright, and the drying rack was incredibly convenient for handwashing clothes daily. The room cleanliness was good, and the front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, with many restaurants nearby and not far from the Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics Park. The only downside was the bathroom facilities: an old sink and a toilet that was quite old and too close to the wall on one side. Replacing them with new ones wouldn't cost much, but it would significantly upgrade the overall standard.

The service was excellent, especially the breakfast which offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. The restaurant itself was charming and elegant with a classic design.

The decor is quite old-fashioned, but its location is a real advantage. It's right outside Chongwenmen Metro Station Exit C, making it convenient to get anywhere! Although the decor is dated, the service attitude from the lobby to the room attendants is excellent! Highly recommended!

I booked the cheapest room, and the location was indeed very convenient for getting to all the tourist spots. However, the bed was badly molded and very old, and the entire room had a musty smell. I reported it to the front desk, and they just moved us to a twin room, which was fine.
