This is an established 3-star hotel boasting an excellent central city location and great value for money. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. The hotel is very clean, and check-in and check-out processes are swift. I frequently choose to stay at this hotel in Chongwenmen multiple times a year whenever I'm in Beijing's city center for business trips.

It was just okay. The hotel is definitely showing its age. My room was quite small, likely because it was a special offer booking. I couldn't make breakfast the next day and wanted to shift it to a later date, but they refused. The overall impression was that this old, established hotel operates with a 'we don't need your business' attitude, as if they couldn't care less about individual bookings. Compared to the many new hotels popping up everywhere, the service experience here was practically non-existent. Its only strong point is the location.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the service was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We stayed at the hotel after being discharged from surgery, and the front desk staff were exceptionally considerate. They went above and beyond, not only taking the patient's feelings into account and providing convenient services but also making flexible adjustments to our accommodation requests. This truly demonstrated a high standard of service – so meticulous, patient, and thoughtful. It truly deserves all the praise! 👍👍👍 We absolutely look forward to staying at your hotel again on our next visit to Beijing!

Great central location, very convenient for getting around. The hotel is just steps away from Chongwenmen subway station, surrounded by numerous shopping and dining options. Its location makes it incredibly easy to access any part of the city. A couple of points to be aware of: 1. The parking lot directly in front of the hotel is managed by a third-party and incurs an additional fee. 2. The Chongwenmen subway station exits predominantly consist of stairs, which can be challenging for those with large luggage or strollers.

The Hotel is located very conveniently on the crossing of lines 5 and 2. The nearest exit of line 2 is C. There are many cars, bakeries and canteens just near it. The room is spacious and clean. The orthopedic mattress and a pillow are really fantastic after a tiresome day. Perhaps the furniture and bathroom are a little bit tired but they are clean. There is a possibility to leave luggage in a special room on the ground floor before or after the checking process. This service is free.

The location is perfect, near one big hub metro station and mall nearby and convenience stores. The hotel itself is a little old but smells so good and it gets cleaned daily…..and so nice people. Xiexie!!!

The bed and pillows are great - something I often complain about even in fancy hotels. The staff is friendly but expect to use a translate app.  Shower works well but isn’t super new as far as the caulk goes. Value for money is very good.

Great hotel, right on the chongwenmen subway station. The room, though being small, was comfortable and clean. We had hot water and a good stream up on the eighth floor. It was comfortable and overall what we expected

Not very pleasurable experience for me. The hotel has a great location, besides that nothing stands out for its reputation. First is the WIFI. It did not work at all, or it connected to the endpoint but had no internet. I did not think I was the first one experienced the WIFI issue. Eventually a tech came in and checked the signal in the room, it was determined a very bad signal there. I did not believe the previous customers would not notice this. Anyway a new WIFI router was added to my room, and finally got wifi working. Another nightmare is the smell from the bathroom. On the first night, I did not close the bathroom door completely. I felt like I slept in a smelly bathroom for a whole night. This is the first time I experienced hotel bathroom smelled so badly. On the following few days, I had to ensure we never left the bathroom door open. Regardless I know this hotel is an old facility but the basics has to be there to serve customers decently.

Never ever. In the middle of the night we woke up because of SMELL sulfuretted hydrogen. Holy ****! I thought I shall vomit of such concentration! It was AWFUL. 500rmb per night for THAT?! Never ever! No location costs my health!

I booked the hotel as part of a trip that started in beijing i found the reception not helpfull at all. even after the hotel was booked on trip.com they claimed that they cannot charge my card - which is the same visa card i paid with on trip.com and also that was charged at the time of booking. They were not interested in trying to resolve it.
