Mark service were excellent and polite. The hotel is at great location , providing laundry facilities .

Walkable distance to a lot of tourist attractions - Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Street and many more. Check in service was a bit slow, but overall we were satifisfied with our stay at the hotel.

Clean and modern hotel. Excellent services as compared to other hotels in China. Staff are well trained and sincere in making the stay an enjoyable experience. Special thanks to Mark who served us the afternoon tea and provided a smooth check out.

All of the service staff are very helpful. On our first day at check in, one of the male staff helped to allocate all 3 rooms to be on the same level and did early check in for us. On our second night, another male staff helped my dad with his luggage lock issue and on our third morning this male staff helped us to make a call to the American Tourist Service Centre. The female staff helped me to set the destination address on DiDi as I’m unfamiliar. On our last day check out, another male staff helped us with our luggages to the car. Thank you very much for the great hospitality that made our stay very pleasurable!

The location is the best if you cane to see real Beijing, all the forbidden areas are nearby at walking distance.

Great location, good food, comfy beds, but no English speaking staff.

I stayed for a week and the place is excellent for its location, close to subway and bus stop which makes it easy to move anywhere. To improve: the facilities of the rooms, limited in terms of ventilation and because the air conditioning did not work well at all. The breakfast was too basic and repetitive, with no variety or changes throughout the week. The rooftop terrace was too much wasted. It was closed practically the whole week and I only had the opportunity to visit it the night before my departure. It has a great view of the forbidden city so you should take advantage of it more, since there are no other amenities in the hotel, this area can be used to spend a nice time at night.

We have stayed in a number of Urcove hotels in Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen. This one in Beijing is not so well renovated, especially the toilet which is still very old. However, the front desk service is still excellent. The location is not exactly that near Wangfujin, about 10vto 15 minutes walk

Great location, nice hotel in terms of room & bed size, cute bear theme.

From the front line, house keeping, the breakfast area staff all are super friendly and efficient. The complimentary washer/dryer is another plus. Small snacks at the lobby really nice and free flow of water. Thank u and keep it up.

URCove is an architectural gem and is perfectly located. On the 8th floor the pearl: a terrace/garden overlooking the Forbidden City (see the photos below). Excellent breakfast and dinner at the restaurant with a perfect quality/price ratio. All the staff, wonderful. A special mention for the manager Mr Andy: competent, kind and always available. Miss Lily and Miss Xiaodi also deserve praise. For my next trip to Beijing I already know which hotel I will book

Reception services were prompt & diligent. Housekeeping need to be reminded constantly to refill the fridge, coffee, tea, replace the cups and clean the room. We stayed for 10 days. Cleanliness is basic but at least towels are clean and fairly new. Location is excellent on subway line 8 & Line 1 direct connection to Universal Studio. Walking to subway about 7mins and main connection line to most tourist spots. Walking to DongMen, entry point to The Forbidden Palace is about 800m away - excellent choice to avoid the already congested traffic area.

There was a mix up with the room type that we booked through Trip.com leading to us being given the incorrect room upon arrival (quite old and dated). After moving to a second room type which also didn’t match the pictures on our booking, we then were able to move to the correct room on the second day of our stay, as apparently no rooms matching our booking were available when we arrived. This room was nice and spacious, with an outside terraced area. Breakfast was reasonable, with plenty of options. Roof terrace was also nice and drinks were a good price. Beds were comfortable and location was good for Forbidden City and easy access to the rest of the city - close to the subway.

I recently stayed at UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City and had a mixed experience. The hotel's location is excellent, especially if you plan to visit the Forbidden City and the Palace Museum, which are just a 5-minute walk away. This proximity made it very convenient for sightseeing. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated. The rooms are small and old, though they are kept clean. The building could definitely use some modernization to enhance the overall comfort of the stay. One downside is the constant traffic noise. The hotel is located on a busy road, and the car sounds are noticeable, partly because the window glass does not provide good noise insulation. Additionally, there are some shops under the hotel with people often chatting loudly outside, which can be a bit disruptive. On the positive side, the breakfast was good, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. The service was also commendable, with staff being attentive and helpful throughout my stay. In summary, UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City is a good choice for its prime location near major attractions. However, be prepared for some noise and an older room. The good breakfast and service help balance out the experience.
