Canton Hotel Beijing

The hotel's location is unbeatable, very close to Xidan subway station and not far from Lingjing Hutong subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. Given Beijing's frequent traffic jams, taking the subway often saves more time. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning temperature is just right. Plus, there's Guangzhou Restaurant downstairs, which is a great option if you're looking to switch things up with some Cantonese cuisine!

Guangzhou Hotel boasts an excellent location and a pleasant environment. Considering Beijing's high property prices, having a bathtub is a real bonus and makes it well worth the money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

The hotel's location is excellent, making getting around super convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is professional and attentive, making it very suitable for family trips. Our stay was, as always, comfortable and pleasant. There are two minor drawbacks: firstly, it's hard for taxis to pinpoint the hotel's main entrance, so we often had to call the driver to adjust the pickup spot. Secondly, food deliveries can't be brought up to the room; you have to pick them up from the delivery lockers on the first floor. Overall, our stay was still very good, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for future trips.

Beijing has so many hotels it's hard to choose! I stumbled upon this one, which is the Guangzhou Office in Beijing, and it even has a Guangzhou Restaurant inside. So I decided to book it. I booked a business king room, and the front desk upgraded me to a business suite. The room was very clean, and the soundproofing was good. I stayed for three nights, and every evening when I returned, the room was tidied up and bottled water was replenished. The service was excellent, and the location was fantastic too, making it easy to get around. Nearby, there are several large shopping malls in Xidan, which are convenient for dining and shopping. It's also close to the subway station. Highly recommended!

☹️ Disappointed: The front desk staff gave us a room on the 5th floor, which was noisy due to its proximity to the elevator. Also, despite clearly seeing we had a child with us, the front desk didn't provide any kids' toiletries or slippers. Thumbs down to the front desk 👎. The room given was on the 5th floor and didn't require a key card for access, so naturally, the security wasn't as good as on higher floors. Plus, behind the room mirror, there was a drainpipe, and you could clearly hear the sound of flushing from upstairs. Thumbs up to the cleaning lady 👍! When she cleaned the room and noticed there was a child, she proactively provided toiletries and slippers, and even gave us extra bottles of water. 👏 The hotel is right above Guangzhou Restaurant, which is very convenient for dining. Getting a taxi from outside, it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Highly recommend!

The environment is good, and there's a Guangzhou Hotel downstairs, but the food isn't great, so I'd recommend avoiding eating there. The hotel itself is fine and conveniently located; it's not far from the subway station, and there are bikes available right outside.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located just 460 meters from Xidan Metro Station Exit B – you can see the building as soon as you step out. The surroundings are excellent. Perhaps because the hotel primarily caters to business travelers, the rooms are exceptionally quiet. It's also incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing all just 1-3 stops away on Metro Line 1, with no transfers needed. For night owls, cycling to Tiananmen after midnight is a breeze, as there are shared bike stands everywhere right outside the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by shopping malls like Xidan Mingzhu, Hanguang Department Store, and Joy City. Notably, a branch of Siji Minfu Roast Duck is located in Hanguang Department Store, only about 100 meters from the hotel. Service: I was pleasantly surprised! I booked for three consecutive nights, and the front desk upgraded me directly to a suite. That's a huge bonus to the experience. For families or larger groups, I'd definitely recommend choosing a suite. It comes with two restrooms, and the restroom and shower are separate. Plus, there's a distinct living room and bedroom, making it very comfortable. I'll highly recommend this to all my friends!

I recently stayed at the Guangzhou Hotel for a business trip to Beijing. Here's my take: 1. **Breakfast:** The breakfast was subpar and sparse. At 7:30 AM, which isn't late, there were very few options, and empty dishes weren't refilled promptly. To make matters worse, I got an upset stomach after heading to my conference! Speechless. 2. **Room:** I booked a suite, but the mini-fridge was completely empty – talk about being stingy. 3. **Water:** On the second day, during housekeeping, they didn't throw out a half-empty bottle of water, and they didn't replenish it either. I wouldn't have minded the former if they had done the latter. 4. **Toilet:** The remote control for the toilet seat was screwed down, forcing guests to endure a heated seat even in summer. (Why?) Now for the positives: a. **Location:** The location is excellent, very convenient for meetings! We all know it's hard to get a taxi on Chang'an Avenue, so walking is a much better option. b. **Guangzhou Restaurant Downstairs:** The Guangzhou Restaurant downstairs, separate from the hotel's breakfast, is actually quite good! c. **Front Desk:** The front desk staff were still very friendly and helpful!

The location is super convenient, right across from Xidan Joy City. The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful. They even upgraded me to a suite on the day I checked in. I'll definitely choose Guangzhou Hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.
