Perfect Nostalgia Inn (Beijing South Luogu Lane)

Great location, very close to Gulou, and plenty of dining options nearby. The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness was impeccable. The service was exceptional; after staying for three nights, we mentioned to the front desk that our room was too small, and they moved us to a quadrangle courtyard room (last picture).

Staying at Qin Mansion Hotel on this Beijing trip was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is located in an old hutong within the Second Ring Road, offering an unbeatable location. It's just a few minutes' walk to Nanluoguxiang, Gulou, and Shichahai, with Beijing's specialty snacks abundant nearby. It made exploring and dining incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding soft and comfortable, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The soundproofing was excellent, making it remarkably quiet despite being in a bustling area. The staff were consistently warm and patient, proactively recommending itineraries and authentic local restaurants, and responding promptly to any questions. The Chinese courtyard ambiance was fantastic, full of old Beijing charm – something a generic business hotel simply can't replicate. My stay was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the soundproofing is superb – you can't hear a thing from outside. However, the room's fixtures are very old, and the cleanliness upon check-in was exactly as pictured (implying not great). Although they cleaned daily, it was limited to changing trash bags and towels. Any requests to the front desk were addressed as much as possible, but without a single smile; it felt very perfunctory.

This hotel is incredibly convenient. It's right by the main road, just a minute or two walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, and easily accessible to the Shichahai area. The surroundings are lively, and the subway entrance is right outside, making it very easy to get to the airport. Plus, the price is great, and the hotel itself is quite nice.

Great location, very close to the metro station and right next to a snack street. The room was clean, and the service was excellent. Plus, they offer free luggage storage.

The hotel is very close to Shichahai subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. However, I'd suggest improving the facilities! The room felt like it hadn't been renovated in a long time.
