Beijing Wtown Resort

Our stay at Gubei Zhiguang was absolutely amazing! Before we arrived, the hotel manager, Kangle, called us a day in advance to ask for our arrival time and provide directions. Since it was the off-season and not many tourists were around, she even upgraded our room for free to one with a direct view of the Great Wall from the window, which was incredibly thoughtful. While we were checking in, Kangle saw my friend and I waiting in the lobby and kindly helped us with our luggage. When we jokingly asked if we, as 'children,' could also get a gift, Kangle proactively offered us a Napoleon pastry. Our impression of her went up, up, up! Following Kangle's recommendation, we visited Simatai Great Wall in the evening, going up before sunset and coming down after dark. We witnessed an absolutely stunning sunset and night view – this trip was definitely worth it! The ancient town itself, with its small bridges and flowing water, sculling boats, hot springs, and enthusiastic staff, is a place worth revisiting. We're already looking forward to our next trip to experience the intangible cultural heritage crafts!

The room environment is great, quite clean, and the location is very convenient. The recreation staff were very welcoming and gave us lots of tips for sightseeing. The package we bought included tickets, breakfast, and a decent dinner, all of which were excellent. All the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and it was great value for money. The scenic area is beautiful, with wildflowers blooming everywhere this season, full of life, and not too many tourists. The local snacks in the area were delicious. I'll definitely come back here again, it's superb!

The hotel's location is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat in a bustling area. The room amenities are very complete. A day before arrival, hotel staff contacted me and even sent the location. They arranged everything well for my stay. It was a very satisfying trip.

Visited Gubei Water Town again with my family during the May Day holiday, and once again chose the Gubei Zhiguang Hotel. Even though it was crowded due to the holiday, the hotel's management was excellent; they handled everything efficiently without a hitch. Food supply during breakfast peak hours also kept up perfectly. A big thank you to Manager Tong, who was incredibly proactive and attentive with her service!

The hotel staff were excellent and very welcoming. The hotel itself is large with clear signage everywhere. Room service was prompt. My kids had a blast with all the activities available. The room facilities were complete, clean, and hygienic. This is an excellent family-friendly resort near Beijing.

I frequently visit Aranya, but I've always overlooked Gubei Water Town, which is closer to home. This time, my mom and I revisited it, and our stay was excellent! The recreation manager contacted us the day before to confirm our check-in time, and we got into our room shortly after arriving. After checking in, they even sent us a travel guide and mini-program for the area. The room had a fantastic view, offering a panoramic sight of the entire ancient town! Breakfast was also delicious! And the 158 RMB dinner was definitely worth the cheap price, haha. See you next time!

The room was very clean and came with various vouchers. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, which is a major reason why I chose to stay here for the second time. It's really suitable for bringing parents along.

The hotel's location is right in the heart of the scenic area, which is incredibly convenient. It has a swimming pool and a kids' play area, making it perfect for families with children. The breakfast spread is also very rich and varied. They even provide complimentary hot spring and attraction tickets. In the evenings, there's an iron show and a light show to enjoy – plenty of entertainment options!
