XANA Deluxe Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Square Qianmen Subway Station)

There were period stains on the duvet from a previous guest, and I found body hair from who knows how many previous guests on the bathroom shelf... There were even tea leaves in the kettle from a previous guest. I know it's a budget hotel, but they really need to step up their cleaning game.

The hotel's amenities are pretty basic. Breakfast is served at the collaborating restaurant next door, but the selection is limited. Prices are high during holidays, and honestly, besides the location, there aren't any real advantages. Many of the in-room facilities are damaged and haven't been proactively repaired.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right near Metro Lines 7 and 8, making it easy to get around. You can also walk directly to Qianmen Street, Dashilar, and Tiananmen Square from here. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants, fruit stands, and convenience stores nearby. The hotel even has food delivery robots, smart remote-controlled curtains, and a separated wet/dry bathroom with music playing while you shower. The service attitude is excellent. Breakfast is outsourced to the noodle shop next door; it’s 38 RMB per voucher, and you can combine vouchers rather than being charged per person. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear guests talking in the hallway both morning and night. The prices on Ctrip fluctuate a lot. I booked for three nights, and the next day I saw the price dropped by 70 RMB per night. Thankfully, the hotel staff were wonderful; the front desk allowed me to cancel one night, rebook, and even upgraded my room, which effectively compensated me for the 210 RMB price difference over the three nights.

The showerhead in the bathroom was a bit broken, but the location is good.

Got a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe king room, which was very spacious and odor-free. The mini-fridge was a nice bonus. The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the subway station and Qianmen Street, offering great value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, making it easy to walk to Qianmen, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven. Facilities: Brand new. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Quiet. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming and even gave me a free upgrade to a king-size room.

This hotel is fantastic! It's a 20-minute walk to Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, and only a 3-minute walk to the subway station. There are tons of places to eat, drink, and explore nearby. The room was clean, and we even got a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. Oh, and the best part is, if you're going to Universal Studios, you can just hop on Line 7 right downstairs – it's super convenient and a direct shot!

The hotel is very close to the city center, and you can walk to Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. The room space is average. There was a lot of catkin flying around. The hotel seemed quite stingy; besides two bottles of water, there was nothing else in the room, and even the toilet paper rolls were always half-used, like a quarter of a roll.

I was traveling in Beijing with family and friends. We stayed in a B&B for a few days, but for our last night, we opted for a hotel. This hotel is conveniently located not far from Qianmen, easy to find, and very close to a subway station, making it great for getting around. The area is also quite quiet. The hotel facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic, and they even have robots deliver takeout. Our booking didn't include breakfast, but the Shaanxi noodle restaurant downstairs served up some delicious food.
