The room was quiet and the environment was clean. What's more, there are many tourist attractions, shopping malls, and supermarkets nearby. Transportation is also very convenient! Definitely worth recommending!

So I arrived, saw the room, and it was terrible. The person who showed me around said it hadn't been cleaned yet. Then the cleaning staff came up, took one look, and said it *had* been cleaned... The room was tiny, and the soundproofing was awful. I could hear a child singing early in the morning, and every footstep in the hallway was crystal clear... Honestly, it was speechless. There wasn't even an outlet next to the bed, so when my phone died, I had to charge it at the desk and play there... Can I please just lie in bed and use my phone? Overall, it was just mediocre, absolutely terrible, and so uncomfortable.

The hotel offers great value for money. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even upgraded my room. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very fresh. It's not far from Tiananmen Square, about a 20 RMB taxi ride away, making it a very good value hotel in Beijing. Nearby are Ziguangyuan and Tiangongyuan, which are worth trying for breakfast. It's only 2 kilometers from the Temple of Heaven. The hotel is very quiet at night, and I would recommend it.

I booked this room because I was having a meeting at the hotel, and the hotel upgraded my room for free. The room was clean and hygienic, but the internet wasn't very good. There's a convenient restaurant on the second floor; the Shanxi cuisine is quite delicious.
