Madison Hotel Wangfujing Tiananmen Beijing

Environment: Not bad. Service: Decent. The cleaning staff always greet me. Location: Very close to Wangfujing, a 2-3 minute walk. Also very close to the National Museum, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City, about a ten-minute walk. Qianmen Street and Dashilar are a short Didi ride away, but traffic can be an issue. Breakfast: Average. Starts at 7 AM, but the variety is a bit limited.

Booked four rooms. The location is great, right next to the pedestrian street and subway, with many malls and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were all very good.

Facilities: The hotel's overall facilities are comprehensive, though the toilet flush button was a bit stiff and unresponsive. The hairdryer plug didn't fit in the bathroom outlet, so I had to use it by the bedside table. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was also good. Environment: The room had good soundproofing, and the hotel's location offered a quiet escape amidst a bustling area. It's just a few hundred meters from the subway station and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. Dining, shopping, and getting around were all very convenient. Service: A highlight was the complimentary late-night snacks served in the lobby. There were also free bottled water bottles on a table in front of the elevator, which was a thoughtful and welcoming touch! The breakfast was quite extensive, especially the fresh vegetables that changed daily, and the taste was excellent. I stayed for four nights, and overall, it was a great experience!

The room had a strange smell and was too close to the laundry room. The service was poor; I had to switch rooms every day during my three-day stay. By the last day, I was just too exhausted to move again. The only plus is its proximity to Wangfujing. This was my first time encountering a hotel that demands good reviews by grabbing your phone. Nowadays, businesses should focus on providing good service, and positive reviews will naturally follow. Forcing people to give good reviews by snatching their phones is just not right.

The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location – just turn right and walk straight, and you're on Wangfujing Street. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn't working well; it was so hot overnight that I broke out in a rash. The hygiene was decent, though. Breakfast was served at the hotel next door, and while the selection wasn't huge, they did have Beijing's signature Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles).

The location is excellent, very close to Wangfujing Street and Quanjude Roast Duck, making it convenient for getting around. The service attitude was good. Breakfast didn't include coffee or tea, but overall, my three-day stay was pleasant. I paid extra to upgrade to a room with a window, which made a big difference for ventilation.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient for getting around, with Wangfujing and the Forbidden City just a short walk away. Plus, there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The environment is also exceptionally clean and elegant, quiet and peaceful, making for a very comfortable stay. It's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be staying here again!

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the facilities are convenient and it's easy to get around. The room was spacious enough and the service was good. Even though it's in Wangfujing, it was very quiet at night. There was a slight odor in the room when I checked in, but opening the window fixed it. Overall, it was a good stay. I stayed here for three days.
