Jinggu Sihe Beiluoguxiang Guesthouse

An absolute gem of a courtyard hotel in a hutong, offering incredible value for money! This was our first time staying at Beijing Jinggu Courtyard Beiluoguxiang with my family, and the experience was fantastic! Even though it's nestled in a hutong within the Second Ring Road, the rooms were immaculately clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The loft-style room design was unique and stylish, and amenities like the smart toilet added a modern touch. There are so many local snack options nearby, and it's super convenient for shopping, getting a taxi, or taking the subway. For its location in Beijing's prime Second Ring Road, the price is absolutely unbeatable – truly excellent value!

To be honest, it wasn't great at all. It's a very ordinary little house tucked away in an old Beijing *hutong*. The only upside was that when I went out late at night, there was an uncle selling *shao kao* (barbecue) right in the alley. I guess considering how expensive real estate is in Beijing, paying 800 RMB a night for a loft inside is... well, it is what it is. It does have a water dispenser and a washing machine, and the location is good for a city walk, but definitely not suitable for seniors. Overall, it's just average, but the value for money is really quite low.

The room was very comfortable, and I'd definitely come back. It's also super close to the attractions. Great!

The North Luogu Alley is very quiet and artistic. It's also super convenient to get to the South Luogu Alley. The location is excellent, really letting you soak in the hutong vibe.

Great location with convenient transportation access. Just note that the hotel may require you to bring some of your own toiletries or request them from the front desk. Overall, it's a good choice for experiencing old Beijing's hutong culture.

The soundproofing in the room isn't great, but it's very clean and the environment is nice. However, it's not very convenient if you're traveling with kids, and it's a bit far from the subway station.
