I’ve become a regular at the Hualux hotel location in Haidian Beijing. I was especially happy with the service from all the staff on this visit. They were kind, courteous and warm in their approach. I was particularly happy with Steven, a young man, who helped me carry my luggage to my room. He, alongside, the entire displayed excellent customer service~ job well done. Thank you.

I stayed in a lot of five star hotels in China and outside China. What impressed me most about this hotel is the staff. Very nice people, professional and client oriented. Rooms and Spa were also great. Breakfast was delicious. Only minus was that the room service and the restaurants in the hotel somehow serve only unique and expensive Chinese dishes. I would wish that they have more affordable and simple Chinese dishes as well.

Before check-in, there was no communication or greeting call; on the day of check-in, from getting off the car to checking in at the front desk, there was no security, doorman, porter, usher, or reception. You had to find everything by yourself, purely self-service. It felt like I was staying in a fake Hualuxe, which is completely inconsistent with the Chinese hospitality advocated and advocated by the brand, and even goes against it. If you say that we arrived at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, the negligence of the employees is understandable, but I checked in at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the official popular check-in time, and the austere atmosphere of impending bankruptcy was projected everywhere, which was chilling; InterContinental's "Youpai" system has always had bugs. As long as it is a popular concert, if you bid through normal channels, the page will often freeze or even malfunction. The reason is very simple. The popular shows are for people with connections. Many packages in Beijing are bundled with Hualuxe Hotel stays. I have made many suggestions and comments to Priority Club and Hualuxe on these issues, but they have not been effectively improved. Members without Q and power are only qualified to watch unpopular concerts. If they must watch popular concerts, they will be bid up to a sky-high price during the auction, or the system will crash directly; Because it is often used as a wedding room (Hualuxe has the natural advantage of hosting high-end Chinese weddings), there are residual "Xi" miniature stickers on the bathtub faucets and other places in the guest rooms, and the housekeeping department cannot escape the blame; Our family of four stayed in the same room number at Datong Yungang Hotel and Southwest Hualuxe, both 1501, and we did not communicate with the hotel before, which was really a coincidence - too coincidental, haha. The bathroom and washroom were not anti-slip, so it was extremely dangerous. We had to lay out towels and bathrobes just in case. When we checked in, they said that we would prepare two sets of children's bathrobes for two adults and two children, but when we got to the room, they still didn't have them. We called to have them delivered, but my god, we waited for a full quarter of an hour. The response time was also bizarre. The turndown was very messy, with no turndown gifts or desserts, and many of the consumables that should be replenished were not replenished. The TV could receive common foreign channels including "Discovery". At first, the hotel only gave a symbolic upgrade. I upgraded to a super small suite. Later, I asked for the price difference and the girl at the front desk upgraded me to a 87-square-meter large suite. By then, I had lost all my good impression of the hotel because everything was passive and the hotel was reluctant and not sincere. There was no welcome gift (even if it was a boy, you could resist it with Alice in Wonderland bathroom supplies, desserts, and plush toys, but not zero), which made my two sons miss the generous gift package given by Suzhou Bay Huayu (with figurines, plush toys, etc., a dazzling array of things). When I checked in, I repeatedly emphasized that I must prepare a welcome gift. My goal as a super dad is very simple. I just want my two sons to be happy and satisfied. Please make sure to prepare enough welcome gifts, because they have stayed in too many hotels and will compare them in their hearts. I also specifically said: If you think there is a place that exceeds the cost, please feel free to deduct it from the advance payment. They agreed (and agreed again in a subsequent phone call), but even when we checked out, we didn’t see the shadow of the welcome gift-you don’t have an official welcome gift. To be honest, you promised the guests but didn’t give it, which is really a turbidity in the industry, haha. No 90 meal coupons, no evening buffet gifts. There are four types of guest room welcome letters in IHG hotels: the first is purely handwritten, and some can also draw, which is super attentive; the second is printed, but the name of GSM will be signed; the third is text plus signature, all printed; the fourth is no welcome letter, such as this one. They have never thought that every guest staying in the hotel is your eternal, walking volunteer propagandist, and they will suffer a small loss and gain a great blessing. Their idea is: "Who is he? Isn't he just an ordinary guest? Look how awesome he is!" This kind of oppositional emotion is really unacceptable. The noodle stall master is from Jinan, and he exudes a sense of simplicity. He is one of the few employees in the hotel that I like. To be honest, the biggest and only highlight of this hotel is all the employees in the all-day restaurant and the executive lounge (such as Kitty, etc.), all of whom have a knowing smile and are tirelessly devoted to service, which makes people feel like spring breeze. Apart from that, it is really difficult to find advantages in this hotel (other Huayu hotels, my two sons can't find any thorns even if they try to find bones in eggs, they are all advantages; this hotel is just the opposite, it's full of thorns, it hurts you, it feels like you are not staying in a hotel, but living on a hedgehog); breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30; the executive lounge is on the 3rd floor, and the products of afternoon tea and happy hour are extremely simple, even terrible. There are no handkerchiefs in the lounge bathroom, only paper towels, which is rare; cocktails include "Love Brain" and other varieties, and you can also make children's non-alcoholic special cocktail "wine". I still suggest developing a few more Chinese cocktails, and the names can refer to "Bawang Cha Ji"; the same is true for hot dishes, which should be done to the extreme of Chinese style and local culture. Whether it is a lounge or breakfast, in addition to being simple, small in quantity and few in variety, the only things that can hold the scene are low-cost braised pork and tofu pudding. You should at least have a Peking duck (Tianjin Rongqiao Suite Holiday Inn actually has it, which is really a clear difference). As a capital hotel, don't you feel ashamed? You are a window industry, a service industry, and you are the first-line promoters of Beijing's image! The welcome desserts and welcome fruits in the room are like those for beggars, but they said they were VVIP level. I had to call the front desk again and communicate that I was willing to pay (if you think it exceeds the cost, you can just deduct it from the deposit), please help me change to a richer dessert. Alas, I didn't expect that they changed it and took the previous dessert away. Your cost control has really reached the pinnacle. The decoration and products of Caifenglou are far inferior to those of Kunming Huayu, or even Huailai CP and Badaling CP. Whether it is the mineral water in the guest rooms, the drinks in the mini bar or the drinks in the executive lounge, they are all cheap and cookie-cutter. They have neither a sense of luxury nor highlight the elements of Chinese culture. Look at Wuhan Guanggu CP, which at least provides local "No. 2 Factory Soda". Since you are a Chinese style brand, you should make full use of the national trend everywhere. You can put retro versions of Beibingyang, sour plum soup, and autumn pear paste, which can highlight national or local elements! The feeling given by the hotel now is that, except for the hypocritical red color and Huayu's exclusive fragrance, it is no different from other ordinary five-star hotels. Without brand differences, who would be interested in your hotel? I was drinking coffee in the lobby (not afternoon tea, such a frugal hotel would not provide it, I just used the welcome drink coupon of the Priority Club to sit in the lobby for a while), and I saw a pair of little girls brought by a group of out-of-town tourists running around in the lobby bar, swearing, and finally fighting with each other (you can retrieve the surveillance video). The whole process lasted for more than a quarter of an hour, and no manager stopped it. First, there are many decorations in the lobby and many stairs. If the child fell, who is responsible? Secondly, the lobby bar is a place for business guests to talk about things, and you create such a bad environment? It's worse than a vegetable market! Again, this kind of "reckless" people, things and scenes are completely contrary to the tone of Huayu, which is too unsightly; Huaxi Live "One Worker Yuan" has a cooperation with the hotel, but did not give us free tickets (again, I don't like white*, but other hotels are too good, too proactive, and too enthusiastic. I can't adapt to such a cold hotel. There is no harm without comparison. After all, I have stayed in most Huayu hotels, so I still have a little say); the swimming pool and the gym are both on the 5th floor. The swimming pool stops entering at 22:00. There is no play pool, hot spring pool and small bubble pool. The water temperature of the standard swimming pool is extremely cold and not suitable for children; the gym is not 24 hours (this is rare in similar and same-level IHG hotels), and the design of the runway is similar to the gym of Parkview Green. Fangcaodi (Eclat), but the scale and sophistication are much worse. This hotel is truly a lawless hotel. From the time we check in at the front desk until we check out, no one cares about us in any area, not to mention the hotel management. We didn't feel the Confucian culture, Confucius and Mencius culture, and Chinese culture (benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness/loyalty, filial piety, brotherhood, and tolerance/gentleness, courtesy, frugality, and modesty) promoted by the Hualuxe brand at all. All we could feel was a cold chill. From the inside out, this is an arrogant, very unfriendly, and aura-clashing hotel. As it is adjacent to Hua Xi Live, celebrity artists and related teams who hold concerts there will choose to stay at this hotel nearby. Therefore, the hotel staff are no longer surprised by big shots, not to mention the numerous diamond members who will not take them seriously at all. During the whole stay, only one male manager on duty called me to inquire (I called the others), and his tone was full of questioning, perfunctory agreement and impatience, implying: "Do you have any opinions about the welcome dessert? You can stay here if you want!" However, Arvin Lan, who called me back later, spoke in a very appropriate tone and manner, and it can be heard that he is a capable industry elite; I have stayed in this hotel 3 times (the first three times were for hosting events, and the clients booked it, such as the annual ceremony of "Sing Bar" at Hua Xi Live, which was hosted by me, and Wang Sulong was just starting out at that time), and this is the 4th time I have stayed there. Some other Huayu hotels directly charged me the room rate without a deposit; some followed industry practice and charged me twice the room rate for pre-sale; this Southwest Huayu hotel charged me three times the room rate as a deposit, and collected it in two installments. Were they worried that I would steal their 24 solar terms sculptures (to be honest, apart from those rigid ornaments, this hotel’s display of Chinese style culture in hardware was too perfunctory, casual and loose)? At this Hualuxe hotel, I was only upgraded to the smallest suite upon check-in (other IHG hotels upgraded me to the largest suite if the room status allowed, although this was indeed an illegal stepping up, but I want to reiterate that I never took the initiative to ask for any kind of treatment). I said I was willing to pay the extra difference and ask for an upgrade to the largest suite, but they told me "I'm willing to pay the extra fee, just deduct it from my deposit, don't be stingy and say you don't want to give me this or that" no less than five times during my stay with the front desk, both in person and on the phone, but they were still reluctant and inexplicable. Based on my many years of hotel experience (I have checked in at 1,368 hotels), this hotel did have a good occupancy rate in the early period of the National Day (but it was far from full), and in the late period of the National Day (during my stay), the occupancy rate was extremely low. From the observation of the lobby, breakfast, swimming pool, gym and lounge in different time periods, we can conclude that there were very few people. Under the circumstances that the room status fully allows, and I fully allow the deposit to be fully deducted, you still provide services in various ways. What is the reason? The hotel's benefits for diamond members are infinitely close to 0. Everything is based on Q, and everything needs to be added to Q, including but not limited to room upgrades, extra beds, children's breakfast fees, mini bars, etc., etc., too many to describe - in order not to embarrass them, I also specifically emphasized in every communication that you can add Q as you like, as long as you deduct it from my deposit, I don't mind. But one of them, a slightly older female middle-level leader, may have heard what I said unintentionally on the phone, "I stayed at other InterContinental hotels, and all these projects were free." She may have felt guilty and timid (her inner thoughts were: this guy may not be easy to fool and deal with), or she may have been worried that I would complain and write a bad review. When checking out, she did grit her teeth and exempted some extra fees - but I want to say that I will not appreciate it at all, because you are a hindsight, you are passive, you are helpless, and you did not exempt everything. I really sneer at people like you who are inconsistent in heart and appearance, pattern and style. Big data killing familiarity is not a rare thing nowadays. For example, when you take a taxi, the software will sincerely block nearby vehicles, and anxious guests have to choose a more expensive model; the same is true for hotel reservations. I booked this Southwest Huayi one month in advance, but the same room type was 200 cheaper when booked on the same day.

During the National Day, I stayed at Huayu Hotel in the capital, which was worthy of the Huayu brand. The service was very good. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and professional. The weather became cooler in autumn, and there was specially prepared hot fruit tea in the lobby. I was fortunate to be invited to experience VIP reception and Chinese tea. The reception lady was also very elegant. The tea was very good, and the tea fragrance was sweet and aftertaste. The towel was also warm, and my heart suddenly became warm. The room card is a wooden Chinese painting with a classic story of the drunk concubine, which is very beautiful! It is probably an aesthetic conception that only Chinese people can understand. I like to be treated seriously like this. The lady arranged a favorite room for me. If I have any questions, I will answer them patiently. It's like a friend I haven't seen for a long time. The whole accommodation experience is excellent. After checking in, the luggage will be sent to the room. Thank you again for the sincere reception of the two sisters. It adds a lot of color to the hotel! The water in the swimming pool is very clean. There were not many people when I went there. The guest room delivered things very quickly and politely. Overall, I felt warm. The Chinese style of the hotel is a plus. The lobby reflects the beauty of Chinese style everywhere. It is the romance in our Chinese people's bones. There is also the unique aromatherapy smell of Hualuxe, which is refreshing. I will recommend friends to come here. Next time I will experience the Caifenglou restaurant on the second floor. I look forward to seeing you next time~

I stay here every time I come to Beijing. Especially those who drive here can choose this place. Parking is very convenient. The overall quality of the staff is very high and their attitude is even better. I like it very much and will come again next time

The room was quite big, my daughter liked it very much, and the hygiene was also very good. Although the hotel was a bit old, it felt that it was being maintained with care, just like the old money style. The uncle who cleaned the room was also very cute. Seeing that there were children in our room, he put a few more bottles of water. I went to Caifenglou for dinner, and I felt that it was not as delicious as before. The price was still quite expensive, but the waitress gave us fish skin peanuts, and we were all very happy. The chef's drunken crab was my favorite of the meal. The yellow croaker was not as good as Huaiyang Mansion and Youyuan Jingmeng. It was a bit too greasy and didn't taste fresh. And I hope that the friends who are responsible for the recommendation of the restaurant will not blindly recommend more expensive dishes. The recommendation should be reasonable, otherwise, it will be a bit disappointing. Let's encourage each other. Guests who can step into Caifenglou must also know a little about food, right?

The hotel is full of Chinese red, the rooms are elegant, simple and atmospheric, the art of the 24 solar terms in the lobby is fascinating, and the breakfast is rich and of excellent quality.
