I stayed here for a total of one week, booking through various apps, primarily because it was close to my exam and interview location.
For the first two days, I was in an inner-facing room, which had absolutely no phone signal. The front desk staff tried all other available inner-facing rooms with me, but none had a signal. Ultimately, I had to switch to a room with a window, but it faced an air conditioning unit. What's more, I was still required to pay the price difference for a regular windowed room, based on the hotel's standard pricing.
Cleanliness was also quite disappointing; corners were not properly cleaned.
When I checked in, I asked the front desk for two sheets of A4 paper. After asking what I needed them for, they only gave me one. Upon check-out, I asked the front desk to help print a document, and they told me the hotel doesn't allow printing for guests. In all my years of staying at hotels, this is the first time I've heard such a response.
I understand that for a budget hotel, one shouldn't expect exceptional service. However, the stiff service and outdated facilities are completely out of line with what a Jinjiang Group chain hotel should offer.
Overall, I'm very disappointed. I would not recommend staying here if you need to make or receive phone calls.
