Pod Inn Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station North Exit)

Run down and dirty. Very hard to find, you basically need to know it’s there to see it. Access only through stairs. Inside the North Entrance of Beijing South railway station, one must exit the arrival section and go through security check once again to reach the hotel. Taxi or DiDi will not stop at the entrance. You will need to walk circa 500m to the hail&ride parking. Not worth the effort if you are looking for a place to rest in between trains.

I booked this hotel because my train was canceled. The position is perfect it is inside the station, there are a loto o convenience store and restaurant near by. The room was clean and a little small but really practical

We cannot go out security check required to go out each time and after 12 in midnight not allowed inside

Sadly an unpleasant hotel : Water on the ground next to the bed. Bad lighting (very dark. No light from outside). Dirty (disgusting spots on the walls). No air (you can't wide open the windows) You are in the train station : you have to pass through the security gate with all your stuff when you want to go out (maximum two lighters per person authorized). The personnel is not welcoming. What's good : Comfortable bed.

Over all the trip was good but the staff didn’t gave any amenities and there was no water bottle in the room as a complimentary item. Hotel location and condition was good.
