When I entered the room, i had the impression that before my arrival it was just cleaned superficially. The edges of the floor had large pieces of dirt (food, hair, dust), and the curtains had coffee stains. The AC system kept going to a temperature of 30 C when I left the room, and it was not practical to operate.
For the rest, the hotel has a great location (close to the metro, main attractions, and embedded between shops and restaurants) and the personnel did sufficient efforts in accommodating non-Chinese speaking customers.

My room has no windows and the air is not very good. The bedding quality is very good and the lobby staff are also friendly. It's very convenient to eat around. But the room cleanliness is not worth the price. The floor of the room felt like it hadn't been wiped for several days, and there were hair and dirt marks on it. The carpet in the corridor didn't look like it had been vacuumed, it was dirty. The floor in the bathroom is yellow and alkaline... At a price of more than 500 per night, the sanitary conditions are really bad.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The subway station is just outside the door. Next to Xisi South Street there are Zhengyang Bookstore, Honghonglou Library, China Geological Museum, and further afield there are the Chinese Buddhist Association, Baita Temple, and Qingfeng Baozi Shop for breakfast. The hotel also has a gym and a golf club. The hotel service is warm, thoughtful and considerate. The two ladies at the front desk are hospitable and very down-to-earth. Awesome hotel with great value for money, worth staying for a few more days!
