JI Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station Subway Station)

To be frank, the price is exorbitant. The room is tiny; I couldn't even move my arms much in the shower (and I'm a petite person) without hitting the wall. If I closed the bathroom door, it became stuffy, but if I left it open, water would spill out. There wasn't even enough space for a small suitcase, as shown in the pictures. The front desk was a bit slow, but very polite. Breakfast quality was poor and didn't match the price point; it was too basic. However, the restaurant staff were nice.

The hotel's location is excellent, though the room was a bit small for a family trip – it's probably better suited for business travelers. It's about 700 meters from the North Entrance of the South Station, roughly a 10-minute walk. The hotel staff were very friendly; they communicated our arrival time in advance and even prepared warm mineral water for us. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast starts at 7 AM, but since our train was early, the hotel offered a grab-and-go option after we contacted them. However, we left even earlier the next day and missed it, but their service attitude was still excellent. The room was compact with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. It felt a little small for three people, but the layout was very efficient. It's a great hotel for a layover. I'd recommend it to anyone catching an early train.

The hotel's location is pretty good, about a 500-600 meter walk from the train station, which is convenient for late arrivals or early departures. However, getting to Line 19 requires a 1.5-kilometer walk. I might have arrived late, as I was assigned a ground-floor room. The room was quite small, making it difficult to spread out my luggage.

Smart controls allow you to adjust the lighting and curtains, and the 65-inch large-screen TV supports screen mirroring. The high-speed WiFi is perfect for both work and streaming. The bathroom features a dry-wet separation, equipped with a smart thermostatic toilet and custom toiletries – every detail reflects quality. The 24-hour self-service laundry room and the nutritious Chinese breakfast are also a big plus. The front desk service was warm and efficient, making the overall experience superb. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and leisure travel!

This Ji Hotel is only a 7-10 minute walk from Beijing South Railway Station, so even with luggage, it's totally stress-free. No need to rush for the high-speed train at all. The biggest surprise was the amazing soundproofing; the bustling street outside didn't disturb my rest at all, offering complete tranquility. And the facilities are absolutely impeccable! The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Beijing South Railway Station subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making getting around super easy and stress-free. The room facilities are very new and complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is great, making for a very relaxing stay. Excellent value for money!

The environment was also very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The surrounding area has convenient transportation; it's very close to the South Station, just a seven or eight-minute walk away.
