Beijing Haoting International Hotel (Chaoyang Joy City Youth Road Subway Station)

Overall, my stay was quite good. There was a minor hiccup with housekeeping during my stay, but the hotel manager handled it swiftly and thoughtfully. Communication was smooth, and the issue was resolved properly. After that, the room service and environment were consistently excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I need accommodation in the future. Five-star rating for their efforts!

I arrived early in the morning before check-in time, and the front desk attendant saw that I needed an early check-in. She noticed there was an available room and kindly let me check in. I'm very grateful for that! I also stayed here last Dragon Boat Festival, and the location is incredibly convenient. It's right next to Joy City and just across the road from the subway exit. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and even had a mini-fridge. However, the mini-fridge was quite noisy, probably because it's old; I'd recommend having it checked. The breakfast was genuinely good, with everything I could want in the morning, including Kung Pao Chicken. The hotel also offers room service at a reasonable price. This trip was too rushed, so I didn't get a chance to try it, but I'll definitely try it next time. The mattress was very comfortable, but the pillows really aren't great, especially for someone with neck issues. Perhaps they could offer cervical pillows for guests to choose from? Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and this is my top choice when visiting Beijing.

The hotel is quite old, and the exterior environment isn't great. There are many blowers facing outwards, generating a lot of noise that affected my sleep at night. I had to change rooms three times during my two-night stay. However, the front desk service was excellent; they were very responsive and helpful in resolving issues. The hotel's location is very convenient, right next to Chaoyang Joy City and Qingnian Road subway station, making it easy to get around, dine, and shop. The only downside is that they still use breakfast vouchers, which feels a bit outdated. The breakfast food and dining environment were very ordinary, like a small street-side breakfast shop. The TV in the room was small, and the facilities were quite old. Aside from the location, the value for money isn't very high.

This hotel is great! It's not far from the train station, and I feel lucky to have found such a good place. It's very professionally run, with service on par with a starred hotel. The front desk staff are welcoming and wear uniforms, which shows their professionalism. The hallways are spacious, bright, and grand. The rooms are even more so – spacious, bright, and very clean, with no strange smells and excellent ventilation. The breakfast is also plentiful. Definitely worth experiencing!

The room was decent and offered good value for money, especially considering it was a public holiday in Beijing. The meals were also worth the price. The showerhead was leaking and needs repair. The location is superb, right next to Joy City, and the nearby Xiaolamei restaurant is fantastic and very authentic.
