Capital Hotel

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1.03km from Monument to the People's Heroes
Advantages: 1. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square. The nearest station is Qianmen Station on Line 2. You can walk to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the city tower, and the Forbidden City. You can also ride Tiananmen at night. 2. The lobby is very grand, the hotel covers a large area and has a garden corridor. 3. The doorman service is very good. 4. We live on the 10th floor of Block A. The room is about 38-40 square meters, which is quite spacious. The corridor is very quiet. Only by swiping the card can you go to the floor you live in, which is very safe. 5. The hotel buffet breakfast is rich in categories. Disadvantages: 1. The sound of the air conditioner is quite loud, and it is also obvious when sleeping at night. 2. The shower water in 1024 flows out in a lump, which should be broken. The water in the shower was leaking from the cracks and the toilet floor was overflowing with water. 3. The supplies of daily necessities are not timely. For example, my mother's soap is gone, and I have to call the front desk to deliver it. 4. The phone at 1023 was broken, and when I called the main station, I heard a buzzing noise. 5. The momentum of the toilet is relatively weak. 6. There is no main light in the room, only corridor light, bedside light, typhoon, floor lamp. A little darker. 7. The windows are fully sealed, semi-floor windows. The above is the real experience of staying in two rooms for five nights. After all, the price of summer vacation is also very expensive, but the hotel has been renovated for a long time and the facilities are relatively backward. All in all, I feel that the price is still on the high side.

The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

A very warm and satisfying stay experience. It was very cold this weekend but we felt warm and happy, especially with a baby. Because the baby likes duck elements, we informed the relevant hotel staff in advance and the hotel helped prepare little yellow duck balloons for the baby. I was very happy when I checked in and kept saying that I would come back next time. The hotel took great pains to arrange the baby's sugar control request. The exquisite snacks prepared were specially prepared to reduce sugar. It was great. I took my baby to the hospital today because I was not sure whether I would be able to come back at noon. A handsome and tall staff at the front desk was very helpful. He patiently and attentively told me not to be anxious, and helped us delay check-out until three o'clock, so that we had enough time to take a rest after taking the baby back from the hospital, and the baby could also adjust. In fact, the normal check-out time is two o'clock in the afternoon. Thank you very much for the warm-hearted gesture of the staff in special circumstances. I have been to Beijing frequently with my baby in the past few years. This is my first time staying at the Mandarin Oriental. The internal environment and the overall quality of the staff are worthy of praise. The staff are polite and smiling everywhere I go. I think I will stay there again in the future. I will choose Mandarin Oriental Hotel again with my parents and family, thank you!

China Great Hall Hotel
4.6/5556 Reviews
Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
Advantages: The location of the hotel is excellent, there is no one closest to Tiananmen Square, it is convenient to watch the flag raising, and you can also park for free. The room is clean, quiet, and traditional positive energy. Think about the words of the Great Hall of the People, instantly tall and tall Disadvantages: The room facilities are average, the hardware conditions are slightly better than those of Samsung, the breakfast variety is small, the meal is picked up early (I still want to thank the young ladies who tolerate us for half an hour every day), there are no small shops nearby (the hotel shop closes early), takeaway only Can be delivered to the guard box outside the intersection for self-collection

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
The location of the hotel is really great! Whether you are going to the square, the National Center for the Performing Arts, or the bus stop to the Great Wall, it is very close. Grandma and the child were very excited looking at the square outside the window. Although they got up at 4:20, they could queue up when they went downstairs and squeezed into the first row. The hotel is very clean, the staff helped with luggage throughout the journey, and a refrigerator magnet from the Temple of Heaven was given as a gift before leaving.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
When I first looked at the evaluation, I thought that the environment was not very good, I didn't have much expectations, and I told my family in advance that it might be unsatisfactory, but is it really close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City? After I arrived, I felt that the environment was OK, but there was a basketball court opposite the room I lived in. It was very noisy during the day. The triple room was really not very large. Toiletries could be taken care of at the front desk of the hotel. There was also a nearby Dashilan at night. It was fun. I hope the store can offer a discount next time. One night is really a bit expensive for students.

location location location !!! excellent location !!! It's a 30-second walk to the hotel from the subway exit, and you can see the hotel from the subway exit. The staff were very kind, the staff even asked me if I was dressed warmly enough. You don’t have to worry about staying here, eating or shopping, all in 1 min.

The hotel environment is comfortable and clean, and the service is responsive. The transportation is convenient. It is close to Exit I of Qianmen Subway Station and the bus terminal. It is good to go to Tiananmen Square, watch the flag-raising ceremony or go near the square. Dashilan is right next to it, so shopping and eating are very convenient.

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The front desk service was very friendly and they upgraded me to a family room for free. The location is very good, more than 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square, and it is very convenient to watch the flag raising. The room is clean and tidy, but the equipment is a bit old, especially the bathroom, which is an old-fashioned bathtub, and the shower is a bit unpleasant. Overall it's pretty good, good value for money, worth staying
