Hotels near Yujing Pavilion in Beijing

We arrived at one o'clock in the morning and booked a double room. The waiter said that it would cost ➕100 for an extra bed to accommodate 3 people. (I called to inquire before and said it could accommodate 3 people, and the room type was also marked as not allowing extra beds. Now I don't charge ➕100. (accommodation), add 100 and it will be 500. You can stay with good wine and don’t have to sleep on a folding bed. The room type was different from the one I booked. The windows of the room I stayed in were very high! The next morning I discovered that the room on the left after entering the door was of a different grade than the one I stayed in!

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

The location of the hotel is quiet, surrounded by residents of old Beijing, no need to go to Nanluoguxiang. It is a three-minute walk from Wangfujing. It's fine, I like it. There is also a noodle shop opposite which is not expensive. When checking out, I also sent a set of mask disinfectant travel bag. The hotel is very attentive, the boss is also a conscientious boss.

Comfortable hotel with an amazing location! The hotel itself is clean and the employees were friendly. It’s about a minute walk from the metro and tons of malls nearby. Take the metro for two or three stops and you’ll arrive at the alleys (ex: Nan Luo Gu). I loved the alleys, there were lots of food and cultural shops. Many landmarks are also nearby!

Its CLEAN. Tourist friendly staff and they can speak english. The hotel is just infront of Beijing hospital. MRT accessible as the Chongwenmen station is just across. It is also close to affordable local restaurants. The famous Wangfungjing St. is just 2 stations away but you need to transfer lanes. Most tourist attractions are just 2-4 stations away. Breakfast is also great at the Citrus Restaurant.

It was snowing heavily in the room in Beijing - the first snowfall. I especially enjoyed looking at the scenery from the window. This year, the snow in Beijing icon has been very heavy. Beijing has become Peiping, the Forbidden City has become the Forbidden City, and there are few people on Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The National Art Museum of China on foot is also very rewarding. The Forbidden City is covered in snow, which is especially beautiful. enchanting. I can’t say enough how cute and chic this hotel is and it’s right in the middle of everything. Located in the heart on Dongcheng District. Just a 100 meters or so from Wangfujing street . There is a lot of colorful action there as this section of Wangfujing is basically is walkable mall so there are thousands of people out having fun getting ice cream and shopping . Very lively area. Located on Dong A Men Street The hotel is just a 12 minute walk from Subway line 1, especially great if you take the inexpensive train and subway connection from Daxing airport or Beijing International . No need to deal with taxis if you don’t want to.. There are great places to eat to the right or left of the hotel . Whether Peking duck or noodles. Whatever your heart desires, you won’t go hungry . There are also little shops for sweets, gifts, pastries or water. .Also not far from Tiananmen Square. Or the Forbidden city , about a 20-25 min walk. For the price the hotel is absolutely worth it and have seen a lot less comfort and dullness for a lot more . The place is updated and modern and the rooms look just like in the pictures on google or what have you. No disappointment, No surprises, no filthiness, mold or peeling paint. We got the Superior Smart Room with window. There are so many nice things in the room like heated toilet seat, great high pressure shower , with head from high above , a fridge, white glass ,blue and gold tones throughout , power curtains( just yank a little on them and they open or close the rest of the way, nice! ) , nice cluster of buttons by the side of the bed with USB or to activate different light or things and just cool modern decor We decided to book breakfast with our stay which is an additional charge of $9, Sure you can eat cheaper outside if you just want a bowl of noodle but you will not be disappointed eating hear either, located on the 5th floor roof top This not a tea and biscuit or waffle and dried egg buffet. This is a full on staffed event with a cook working in the back . The choices of eastern and western food is endless. It’s very large .you will be satisfied . The 5th floor is the outdoor roof where u can sit and enjoy some fresh air and it also has an indoor lounge . The inside lounge has a microwave, a small couch, washing machines(1 or 2, don’t remember ) , two stationary bikes . A couch etc… a place to chill if you want . They have WiFi, though the staff helped me connect I couldn’t really get mine to work. Maybe you will have better luck . The staff is helpful and friendly though English is at a very very minimum. But that’s ok , hell we are in their country right? Just get out your google translate and they will translate back. I found this to be the best method of communicating. In the end , with all the benefits of proximity to food, attractions , subway we would not hesitate to stay here again. Really nice small hotel
