Capital Hotel

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1km from Jianlou
Advantages: 1. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square. The nearest station is Qianmen Station on Line 2. You can walk to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the city tower, and the Forbidden City. You can also ride Tiananmen at night. 2. The lobby is very grand, the hotel covers a large area and has a garden corridor. 3. The doorman service is very good. 4. We live on the 10th floor of Block A. The room is about 38-40 square meters, which is quite spacious. The corridor is very quiet. Only by swiping the card can you go to the floor you live in, which is very safe. 5. The hotel buffet breakfast is rich in categories. Disadvantages: 1. The sound of the air conditioner is quite loud, and it is also obvious when sleeping at night. 2. The shower water in 1024 flows out in a lump, which should be broken. The water in the shower was leaking from the cracks and the toilet floor was overflowing with water. 3. The supplies of daily necessities are not timely. For example, my mother's soap is gone, and I have to call the front desk to deliver it. 4. The phone at 1023 was broken, and when I called the main station, I heard a buzzing noise. 5. The momentum of the toilet is relatively weak. 6. There is no main light in the room, only corridor light, bedside light, typhoon, floor lamp. A little darker. 7. The windows are fully sealed, semi-floor windows. The above is the real experience of staying in two rooms for five nights. After all, the price of summer vacation is also very expensive, but the hotel has been renovated for a long time and the facilities are relatively backward. All in all, I feel that the price is still on the high side.

the Imperial Mansion, Beijing - Marriott Executive Apartments

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|1.5km from Jianlou
The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
location location location !!! excellent location !!! It's a 30-second walk to the hotel from the subway exit, and you can see the hotel from the subway exit. The staff were very kind, the staff even asked me if I was dressed warmly enough. You don’t have to worry about staying here, eating or shopping, all in 1 min.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
I forgot to take pictures, except that there is no elevator, everything else is fine, especially right next to the 07 security checkpoint. I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and strolled to Tiananmen Square. After waiting for a while, the flag was raised. It is also close to the Forbidden City. I walked there and ate. It’s more convenient. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Dashilar. The front desk and service staff are very friendly. They even gave me a few refrigerator magnets when I left. I will choose to stay there next time I go to Beijing.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
The hotel environment is comfortable and clean, and the service is responsive. The transportation is convenient. It is close to Exit I of Qianmen Subway Station and the bus terminal. It is good to go to Tiananmen Square, watch the flag-raising ceremony or go near the square. Dashilan is right next to it, so shopping and eating are very convenient.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
To be honest, after reading the reviews before checking in, I was still worried about this hotel because of the smelly sewers. I'm afraid the air conditioner won't heat up. But after moving in, all these worries disappeared! The room was very clean and the air conditioner was super hot! ! Who can believe it? For a southerner, I have to turn off the air conditioner at night and open the windows for ventilation to feel less hot! ! It was really useless to worry about it before ~ and the location of the hotel is really good. It's very close to Qianmen, Dashilar and the fresh fish mouth! It’s also very convenient to take Metro Line 8!

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
Siheyuan in a hutong with unique decoration style, close to Xianyukou and Qianmen Street, Dajiang Hutong. It is convenient to eat and drink. The Qianmen subway is about ten minutes' walk nearby. The transportation is convenient. The receptionist is very enthusiastic and the service is very attentive. It is said that there are chains in other cities. He also has his own vegetarian restaurant. If you like vegetarian food, you can choose. I look forward to having the opportunity next time. .
