My experience with Darin/George (both names were given) was very disappointing. After I had already paid for the apartment, he unexpectedly asked for more money for the same place and even tried to request an additional security deposit. The way he handled everything over WhatsApp was unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress. On top of that, he only contacted us at the very last minute about these so-called “issues,” leaving us scrambling. Overall, I would not recommend dealing with him and would avoid booking.

We rented a 3 BR, 2 bath apartment from Darin at Ultra Urban Belfast Penthouse Apartments and would highly recommend it. It was close to the train station (5-10 minute taxi/uber) and easy access to walking in and around the city. It was clean, beautifully appointed and Darin, the host, even had a few snacks and milk to get us started. He was a pleasure to deal with and got back to me in seconds when I had a question. Perfect for families or couples looking for a reasonable alternative to a hotel.

Great service best person to deal with, helped us out last minute when dream apartments cancelled us, Darren was great very welcoming and showed us right to the door and catered for our guest who was a small surprise friend visiting. Thank you very much we will be staying again

Would not recommend this as a place to stay in Belfast . The area did not feel safe and the sheets on the bed were stained. Felt quite student like with cigarette smell in the foyer area. Darin did not make it easy with constant text messages. Overall, not a pleasant stay!

Stayed here in November for Disney on ice, Darin is very nice and helpful. Apartment itself met our needs. Very clean, comfortable plenty of room. Central location. Parking was handy, safe and secure. Close walk to restaurants. I would recommend staying here

Great location and good value for these apartments in Belfast. Lacks the charm of some of the hotels in the area, but makes up for it in the size of the apartment and location. Check in was smooth, we pre arranged a time, and no problems with check out. They were quick to respond with any questions we had.

STAY AWAY - the location of the apartment is a 20-25 min walk from the city centre. It is within a student area and the street is rather run down and it looked rather daunting. The apartment it self was clean however it wasn't like the pictures. I think they must have a few apartments on offer but most are of the pictures from the other apartments. I'd give 7/10 for the apartment. 6/10 for location. The biggest issue was the host Darin. He was very unwelcoming from the get go and was very patronising when speaking. He also decided after giving us the keys that hr wanted to double the security deposit. By this time we were already in the town centre. He persisted to text and call over 15 times and threatened to take action. We even received an email from *********** in the late evening whilst having some food and drink that the apartment had been cancelled. I think this is due to us not giving him the extra security deposit which we thought was not necessary. To have the worry and stress that we receive both a formal email from *********** as well as text messages from Darin (host) really hindered our stay in Belfast. He even threatened to changed to change the code to get into the apartment. We were honestly all shocked at the behaviour. We were fully expecting to come back to find our belongings outside. Darin (host) even went into the apartment whilst we were not there during the day to check the place after our first night. He admitted the place was in good shape and still persisted to get an increased security deposit. I never write reviews but I feel this is completely necessary due to the harassment, request for the increase in deposit (which we refused as we thought he would keep it). The apartment was satisfactory but the host completely ruined the experience.
