summary •We stayed here for two nights in a private room. The room had a bunk bed, sink, and lockers. Very basic room but you get what you paid for. Plenty of communal toilets and showers to use • Free wifi •Approx 20 min walk to Cathedrals Quarter •The hostel itself would benefit from some TLC just to make it look and seem cleaner •There was a kitchen area, Tv lounge, and laundry room available. We did not use these facilities during our stay •Friendly staff- shout out to Cathel (think that is how it is spelt). Very lovely lad with good craic

The neighbourhood is a bit scruffy, but I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The staff on the front desk are very friendly and helpful; there are several fast-food options at hand; it's right on a major bus line; the bed was comfortable; there's a TV lounge and a big kitchen, if you want to cook your own meals. There's a laundry service one street over, along with pubs, chain convenience stores and entertainment venues. Breakfast is available at the cafe next door (not included in the room price). It's a fairly easy walk into the centre of town, as is Queen's University in the other direction. The one 'surprise' is the bathroom/shower - if you like Navy showers, you're in luck here. You can shower and clean the toilet in one shot, so to speak.

Been coming here over 20 years . Changed alot . Best Youth Hostel in the World as far as I am concerned. Multi national and generational. Great kitchen set up. Great dorms and wet rooms. Great library and chill out areas. Launderette free coffee and tea

location is central. having the car park was handy for me. staff were decent. hostel had no atmosphere. common areas were dead. only one power outlet in my room. no privacy curtains is unforgivable in 2024. the place really needs a renovation.

absolute dumphole of a place,cold rooms,when asked about heating was told NO heating like it or lump it,room carpets and beds were taken out of a skip it was bogging,booked for 3 nights left after first night... THE STAFF ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING YOU SAY DO NOT STAY HERE.

Nice location near the city center. The staff is nice and helpful, there is a kitchen with cooking equipment and fridges. Unfortunately the room isn't too comfortable. There are no towels, the private bathroom doesn't have soap. Water pressure in the shower is rather low, which makes washing your hair a challenge. There is no possibility to hang your towel somewhere, so it can't dry properly. The room has no places to put your stuff on except for a small table. No wardrobe, no shelf, no desk, nothing. Be prepared to drop all your items on the floor... Also there was no (working) heating. Overall not the best experience :(

This hostel was great. I spent the night in a private en-suite room and was very satisfied with everything. The location was great and I was able to visit most of the main attractions (Titanic, Windsor Park and Ulster Museum) on foot. Café Causeway next door was good . The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. I liked the security aspect of the hostel that key cards were required to move around. For anyone looking for an affordable place to stay at this hostel, I can highly recommend this place.
