Comfort Inn & Suites Belton Temple South I-35

We were in town for a rabbit convention at the Expo next door. It was nice to be able to walk to our events. The room was plenty big, we were more than comfortable with 3 of us. The breakfast was just what you needed. The only complaint I have is there was a weird smell when you walked into the room. You got used to it and no longer noticed after a couple of minutes, but it hit you every time you walked out and then back in. I only found that to be a minor inconvenience.

It’s a new hotel, next door across the parking lot of the Belton Convention Center, everything is clean and a great location, it should be a 5. Possibly could be a 5 under new management. For the service? The TV is Tubu and you had better have a account. Finding the free programming? OMGosh…and I was there for 5 days and kept trying. Never did find the news. When asking what I need to do, “I’ll send someone up”. Nothing….she said OK I will come up. No one ever showed up. I gave up. Checking out they were having a party on the back patio, rang the bell and had to go, open the door and ask if someone could help me. The faucet in the kitchen, be very careful cuz it blasts out and it’s a very small sink allowing water to go everywhere. Sleeping? Bring your own pillow. They may be 2”s thick so slept very poorly for 5 nights. I tried doubling up and it was too high. Went down to breakfast 1/2 hour before closing. I understand not replenishing eggs/ meat and such but what about yogurt or bagels? In the room kitchen where the silverware was located, I tried everything to get it opened. It was hitting on the countertop and thank goodness I had brought my own cuz I never got it opened. I know there where more that left me shaking my head but can’t think of them now.
