Great hotel, great location, very helpful and friendly staff, nice pools with fabulous comfy sun loungers

Our first time here and will definitely return. Apartments were very clean, modern and well-equipped. Couldn't fault it, very comfortable. Staff were very helpful friendly and polite. Plenty of amenities with lovely swimming pools. The restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. There was a well stocked supermarket right next to the apartments. Ideal location for the beach, promenade and shops. Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend.

The drinking water filter in the apartment was a game changer, no need to carry heavy bottles from the supermarket…good for the environment too.

Super service, we had booked to come on Friday but due to circumstance we needed a room on Thursday. After ringing Sahara Sunset arranged a room for the extra day. SUPER

This hotel is punching above its weight and winning. The staff are all really friendly and really take pride in making sure your stay goes well. While on holiday I had a problem with my suitcase not wanting to unlock (likely due to being thrown about in the plane). The staff helped me and found a solution to get inside by cutting the tags and smoothing them off to avoid injury. Without which I'd have had no clothes for the trip. While in Spain we had the national power outage which was totally beyond anyone's control. The staff handled this the best they possibly could. Allowing us to gather water from the pool to aid with flushing toilets, which were affected by the power outage. Providing us with candles and matches. As well as the rooms having a torch inside. When the power came back on, they organised a get-together with complimentary drinks and nibbles to thank us for our patience. This was a lovely touch even though this wasn't the hotels fault. The room I stayed in had recently been renovated and I was so impressed by the new design and choices that had been made. The resort was kept clean all the time by the fantastic cleaning team who were always doing something. All members of staff were friendly and were on board with the hotels pledge to reduce its environmental impact. The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking but on street free parking is so easy to find between the hotel and the park that this isn't an issue. The location is minutes away from the seafront and a selection of places to get breakfast and other meals. I've been to this hotel before, but I've seen a real improvement this year in how Sahara Sunset is being ran. I look forward to seeing how they continue to develop.

We had an excellent stay in the hotel. The hotel is super nice and the location very good close to beach and the restaurants. Nice pool area. Would definitely stay here also next time.

Very Big room and cleaning

Apt RSEG. DO NOT ACCEPT ON CHECK IN. We had a young toddler with us. Our apartment was in a separate building across a road up a hill. This was not conducive to using the pool facilities. Given we had to go down the road anyway, we ended up going to the beach and paying to use so loungers. To access the pool from our building, you had to cross the road and carry the buggy down steps. It was not accessible. Our only outside space felt like a cage. We had to sign an antisocial behaviour policy at check in. This gave false reassurance. We had a full blown party in the apartment above us. I complained to reception. No action was taken. There were no staff in our building to notice. I had to complain again the second night. We had ants in our apartment. The response was to give us a can of insect spray. The bathroom door was warped and would not close. The bathroom shower leaked all over the apartment including the bedroom.. They came up and told us it was fine. No cleaning offered. It happened again the next morning. The bathroom door clearly showed damage so we were not the only ones to experience flooding. I again complained and they cleared the blockage. I had to ask again that they wash the floors given we had a toddler crawling on the filthy floors. The bedding was even wet from dragging in the flood. Overall very disappointed. The only redeeming aspect was one member of the front desk staff that was attentive and responsive when we spoke with him.

Check in was difficult, took time because of a problem in their magnetic machine. Not enough amenities in the apartment. You need to pay extra for indoor pool. You need to pay in order to give you towels for outdoor pool. Housekeeper cleaned the apartment once on our stay and forgot to put soap and shower gel in the bathroom. You have to leave the apartment (check out) before 10AM. I had to pay extra in order to stay until 11. Manager was so inflexible and unhelpful with regard to my asking to stay until 11AM All in all, we are not happy with this resort.

The location is very good. It is one of the most satisfactory rooms we have stayed in Spain. The room 2c we stayed in has a view of the sea on both sides. The kitchen facilities are excellent and it is very suitable as a base. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the beach. There should be a hot spring bath in the hotel, but we didn't experience it because we didn't have the right time. It's a pity that there are no rooms at the back, otherwise I would like to stay for a few more days!

A very complete hotel, with indoor and outdoor pools, free spa, entertainment (very simple), the apartments are up-to-date with all the details, they are spacious, new and clean and you have a butler service via WhatsApp that works very well. The staff very friendly. There is free parking in the area without problems. The location is close to the Santa Ana area and close to supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel itself has a supermarket and restaurant that I did not visit. The only thing I would change is that the arrival has to be after 4:00 p.m. and the departure before 10:00 a.m., so you lose a lot of time during your stay.
