Disclaimer: the booking price per night I secured was cheap, considering it was last minute and during peak period.
Upon arrival, property exterior looked nice and worth of the 4 stars but personally that was the climax of it as everything else was sub-par. Swimming pool was decent with a max depth of 1.2m.
In-room experience: toilet seat was broken and there was no hair dryer. The balcony seemed overkill as it was quite sizeable but empty. Perhaps it is for the beachfront vibes but there is a wall covering any view (good for privacy though)
Breakfast: only made it once for the buffet breakfast and the spread was limited. Again, below the 4 star touted.
Service: this is where they saved their honour. Staff were friendly, great, and accommodating to requests.
Location: very near to the beach and away from city, making it an idyllic place. However, maybe as it is the festive season, 2 out of 4 nights we were woken up by super loud music (and vibrations) coming from the event stage located opposite the property.
All in all, pretty good for a newly opened hotel and at the price point (<SGD80/night) means no complaints. But it is at most 3 star level to me
