Magic Villa de Benidorm

This is my own personal opinion.. Room 619 (front of hotel) Room: very basic and in desperate need of updating. I personally felt like I’d stepped back into Spain, in the 80’s. Beds uncomfortable. Only ONE plug socket for the whole of the room, we had to go out and buy an extension lead. (€7.50) Room very noisy as we was on the front of the hotel (even though I’d requested a back room) Bathroom: very nice & clean updated bathroom. Fresh towels daily. Pool area: life guard on duty daily. The pool area is very basic. Plenty of beds, tables & chairs. Breakfast: plenty to choose from. Sausages, (Spanish bacon) scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, hash browns (veggie options available) etc etc. we did have to microwave our breakfasts daily as it all seemed a little cold. (Could have been we was the first guests to arrive as the hotel has been shut for the winter) Location: right on the *****. Close to all the bars and a five minute walk to the beach & shops. Housekeeping team: absolutely amazing and so friendly. Reception staff: the reception manager was very friendly. The young girl not so much. Chef’s & waiters: very friendly and hard working. Bar staff: very friendly but don’t like you paying cash. So only had one drink. “CASH IS KING” Outside hotel: ladies of the night work outside the hotel. So please be vigilant when arriving back to the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful location, food and staff. So comfortable and a really nice place to stay. The food is unusual and breakfast was delicious. The room has uninterruptedvies of sunset and sunrise. The staff attentive, friendly and a delight

I am extremely disappointed with the response we received from the hotel after making a complaint through loveholidays. My 72-year-old brother, who has disabilities, had a terrible experience terrible

We loved this place. It’s so special. Sofia (the owner) is wonderful. A mine of information. Ask her anything about the Island and she’ll always help. It’s very private and very peaceful at Villa de Sogni. It’s also very traditionally Greek. The rooms have a dated charm and are incredibly spacey with great balcony’s. If you want a plush five star palace, then you’ll need to pay those prices. Everything here has its own beauty. Breakfast is buffet style cold. Great coffee, local yoghurt, cereal, fruits, local cakes etc The swimming pool is gorgeous. Lots of great restaurants on the sea front at Katelios are just a 15 min walk away. Slightly uphill coming back. The island is stunning. Sophia takes great pride in the villa and it shows. We’ll absolutely be back.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the villa de mar and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Every member of staff was polite and helpful. We originally had a superior double room which was spacious and over looked the pool. Best shower I've ever experienced anywhere. As a surprise my husband upgraded us to a sea view room with shower and jacuzzi. Both rooms had a mini bar with soft drinks and water also cans of beer stocked daily if needed. Reception staff very helpful with the surprise upgrade. There was plenty of choice in the restaurant and snacks available during times it was closed.Can't remember everybody's name but Aida was amazing as were all the restaurant staff. Every area of this hotel was spotlessly clean. The pool is on the small side but who needs a pool when you have a ocean on your door step. Lovely and warm to I was still swimming at 8 pm on our last night. The Queens death was announced nearer the end of our holiday and I would like to Thank you all for the consideration of our feelings at that time. This was my first holiday to Benidorm and I will be definitely visiting you again. Thankyou x

This hotel is right in the middle of everything and a short walk to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is great. We stayed as a family of 8. My mother uses a walker and was very happy that the lift operates all the way down to the dining room. They serve branded drinks in the all inclusive including cider in the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter has coeliac disease and the chef came out to point out al of the meals that she could eat, he cooked specially made gluten free pizza and chicken nuggets and gave her a slice of gluten free cake. The pool is lovely and deep surrounded by plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel is surrounded by Benidorm nightlife so is a little noisy at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Arrived at Villa de Benidorm on 4th July 2023, arrived at around 12.30 couldn’t check into room till around 3.30 when we got to room sofa bed was like lying on metal had to go and ask for another mattress to go on top so could sleep. We went ultra all inclusive supposed to be welcome pack nothing in room, fridge supposed to be replenished daily was only done twice in 2 weeks. Food not great and getting into dinning room a nightmare, had to queue up on the stairs to get in. Entertainment and food only really catered for the Spanish, I know it was the Spanish holidays and we were in Spain but if we had known that it only catered for the Spanish we would have booked elsewhere, had a 13 year old with us and there was no other British kids, like to sit in lounge at night with some entertainment but could not understand it so had to go out. Maids would come into room at 8.30 in morning even though we put do not disturb sign up. We are on holiday and get up at 6 every morning at home to work so on holiday like to lie in a bit, they also then didn’t come back into room so a few days didn’t have room cleaned Used the ultra all inclusive to visit the other hotels which we enjoyed, but Villa de Benidorm is really run down and seriously needing a refurb

We spent a week all inclusive at the hotel. Originally doubted the hotel due to the lack of positive reviews, however was surprised with how great the experience was. The hotel is only small and therefore was great for a nice chilled holiday. The room was cleaned, and beds were made daily. The pool was brilliant, consistently cleaned after closure. Bar staff and reception was so friendly, and especially manager. Despite the rest of the hotel being exceptional, we had an issue with the shower, as it kept unhooking and spraying everywhere. The food was alright. My favourite night was oriental. Most of the other nights I believed didn’t cater much for the more basic eaters, and when they did it wasn’t very tasteful. The hotel is just off the Benidorm ***** so would recommend for those who like to have a drink and go clubbing. Brilliant location as very close to the beach and other restaurants, shops ect. Overall the hotel is better better then what I expected and I’m pleased with my experience. Thank you.

Just returned after a short 4 night break, we were a bit unsure due to the lack of reviews. However, we couldn't fault it. We arrived around lunchtime after being dropped off a few metres away, easy, friendly check-in, and no wristbands for all-inclusive. We had room 201 on the second floor, nothing posh but had hairdryer, fridge, and plenty of wardrobe space. The hotel is in a brilliant location, walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants, old and new town and all the nightlife you could want. Only drawback was the noise from revellers into the small hours. It's not a problem if you're young but us old ones prefer sleep . Breakfast was the best meal, full English and drinks were also branded, Malibu, gin, baileys to name a few. Its a small hotel but has an outdoor and indoor pool plus a gym . Bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. This is a no frills little gem in a fab location. What's not to like . The flash hotel across the road charged for water. We had it free around the hotel. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely little birthday break. It was worth a visit for anyone wanting to party in benidorm
