Medplaya Hotel Rio Park

Pros: good location, spotless rooms, friends staff, Cons: poor food quality, expensive drinks, showers poor, pool not open until 11 and closed by 4 most days Having stayed in several hotels in the immediate vicinity the Rio park has several areas that it could improve I would rate at a basic 3 star

WE stayed here with the kids in 1974 so, not having been back to Benidorm in 40 years we were passing and stayed for a nostalgia fix. Things were still the same - AMAZING!!! Staff were still the best, value for money incredible, every part of the stay was just fabulous. Food, wonderful, cleanliness !!!! I could go on but they are just the best. Well done staff of Rio park

Stayed here for a week over the Easter holiday it was a pleasurable stay room nice comfy bed and food was excellent always able to find something to eat even my wife who his a very fussy eater my only ****** is at lunch and evening meal maybe consider a small jug of water as a token gesture would be appreciated otherwise a lovely stay compliments to all the staff

Been in this hotel many times before but this time was a little bit disappointed I found the bed very uncomfortable and pillows lumpy . Didn't like the swimming pool closing at around 4pm kids were very disappointed and the lifeguard very strict with them.saying that the food was lovely as were all the staff

It’s a Lovely hotel. We all had the best stay. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice. I Would most definitely book to stay here again. When you check out the staff give you get a departure bag which is a lovely touch…….

The rooms are spotless and a fair size,the pool area is clean and large and no rushing for son beds,the bar and restaurant staff are absolutely brilliant, the food is very good.Overall this hotel is fantastic. One small complaint change the pool music occasionally

Just got back from a 3 day break here, and the hotel is great, we stayed last year too. The room was lovely and comfortable, only minor gripe was the pillow could possibly do with replacing as it was a bit flat, but it doesn't put us off. Always had hot water. Asked for a liw floor and was given a low floor, with an added bonus of facing the pool. Breakfast and evening meal was nice, always warm, but never cold food. A fair amount of choice, and we both said we would never go hungry. People say there was only hotdogs and burgers, but we see much more than that. Different dishes every day. Bar prices for drinks are more than the resort, but it's always been like that whichever hotel you stay in. Pool area is well kept, with people working every morning, setting up the areas ready for the day ahead. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We said we will be back again.
