The hotel is wonderful, clean, and the room has a perfect view. The buffet is average, not much for the price and quality. But the facilities are unbeatable.

Ignore the negative reviews, they had me worried for no reason. We stayed for 6 nights all-inclusive. Family of 4 and booked a 2 bed family suite - room 8503. The room was immaculate with a fantastic amount of space. There are minor imperfections but nothing that isn’t expected with a hotel which is not brand new. The huge advantage to the suites was no shared corridor with anybody so none of the usual door slamming noises! Very quiet area and perfect for families. Food/drinks - zero complaints. Breakfast is fairly standard and repetitive but the freshly made omelettes were fab and my kids couldn’t get enough of the pancakes, waffles and crepes with chocolate sauce for breakfast. Most lunches we had at the Mexican snack bar. 10/10 - freshly made to order. Kids loved the quesadillas! Dinner - we booked the Italian for our à la carte choice - super choice! Pizza was perfect. The buffet was good, plenty lovely fresh salads, grilled meats etc. Kids highly rated the ice cream and pick n mix sweeties available for dessert. Pools - spot on, always sun beds available. The waterslides were fantastic - open 11am-6pm. Can’t comment on kids club as we didn’t use this at all. There were 2 events being held during our stay but these did not impact us at all. It made breakfast slightly busier a couple of mornings but there was ample seating and we ate fine. Managed to get a phenomenal deal here and we would 100% return. More info posted on the picture app - handle is the same as my name here.

Brilliant stay with our children in a junior suite, room was really spacious and had partial sea views and a huge sun terrace with sun loungers and an area outdoors with a table and chair under cover. The resort is big so plenty of walking and places to see and eat. Some places were chargeable but worth a visit and not too pricey. I loved the running track around the hotel it was great and the positive posts along the route and great views. I would say there were just a few points that stopped me giving 5 star, even at the end of may some facilities were still shut/ out of season. The pool were freezing cold, the kids slides only on at weekends and ice cream only weekends from 3pm. Overall though facilities and stay was brilliant and well located.

We stayed here for 10 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Here are some of the tricky bits: We Struggled to find breakfast. Wandered around and around. A member of the kitchen staff pointed and gave instructions and we continued to get lost. We saw him again and he looked annoyed that we hadn’t found it. He then waved his arms and gave us new instructions. We still were lost. Eventually a very nice woman from the hotel physically took us to the breakfast area. You have to walk outside the back area of the hotel, pass the fountain area then go down a winding set of steps directly in front of you. The restaurant is there. Our beds were Single beds. I requested at the front desk for it to be made into a king size bed but it wasn’t done until day 4 when I chased reception again. One of Robes hanging up in our room had makeup on the collar. It clearly wasn’t clean which was very surprising. I asked at reception for a new one. It never came. We just gave up on that. There were occasional smell of drains in the bathroom but by the afternoon it would go. There were a few very tiny ants that seemed to come up from the sink but it wasn’t horrendous. Parking is not free unless you park in the car park below the hotel. It’s only a 3 minute walk. The Spa is not owned by the hotel. You can only go for one hour and it is €25 per person. You must have a swim hat and flip flops. Bearing in mind how much we paid, it seems wholly reasonable that the hotel bear the costs for the Level guests to include the spa and parking. The spa was in fact closed for 5 days whilst we were there which was very disappointing. I had really been looking forward to using the sauna each day. Our room (510) was quiet and had a great view of the golf course and partial sea view. The only occasion when it wasn’t quiet was the occasion when a Screaming drunk Spanish woman came into the hallway at 3am with a large group. 510 has a fabulous view of the sunrise however by 12 the sun will have moved around the building so you won’t get sun on your balcony. The coffee at breakfast is not good and the water is not very hot. On to the Positives Very large rooms with lots of cupboard & drawer space and -big plus -an iron and ironing board! Breakfast is really great (except the coffee). The fruit is truly wonderful, there is a whole range of different foods to enjoy. The breakfast staff work really hard to get the tables cleared and ready for the next guests The grounds are kept up with Attractive planting. The heated outdoor pool was a real delight. No one told us but towels can be obtained at the main reception. The free drinks and snacks were provided at the Level Lounge. We really enjoyed that perk. The only issue was at around 5pm they would bring out some snacks but some of them appeared to be defrosted. They were cold and very wet, ie pieces of quiche, frittata, mini pizza. This was most unpleasant. There are always crisps, selection of different nuts, and raisins

One of the worst hotels ever. Rude and arrogant staff. Booked the hotel under a flexible rate - then sadly my mother has passed away and myself and my family clearly are in no fit state to travel . This hotel has asked me for my mother’s death certificate to cancel my booking even though we are on a FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION rate with more than enough time to cancel. Staff so rude and think it’s funny my mother has died. This hotel will not cancel my booking WHY ON EARTH WOULD I UPLOAD MY DEADS MUM DEATH CERTIFICATE TO CANCEL A HOTEL BOOKING ON A FLEXIBLE BOOKING RATE . FYI my mother passed two days ago……. They are nasty nasty people avoid this hotel at all costs. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Fabulous resort just outside of Benidorm. We stayed at The Level and had a large room with terrace and access to the lounge for snacks and drinks including alcohol. Our bedroom included a seating area, a dressing area and robe and slippers with Rituals amenities in the bathroom. The complex was amazing included a spa / gym area and sits on a golf course. We walked into Benidorm that took about an hour with wide and safe footpaths. We had a half-board package and this was definitely a great option as breakfast had so much choice with fresh produce and an egg station. Dinner included lots of choice and fresh meat / fish station.

We were looking forward to a well earned break at a beautiful hotel, having stayed at previous Meliá properties the expectations were high but this fell seriously short. The positives! The Botanic buffet restaurant at the Level had some great food. Restaurant Lima was very good. A handful of staff have great service such as Ximo, Jeyson and Miguel, all from Papamambo. The not so good! We had booked an all inclusive premium room through Jet 2. On arrival after pulling your cases across cobbled paving you find reception closed and to go to the Level reception. We arrived there and were told, we don't have any premium rooms available, you have been upgraded to a junior suite. Great we thought, until we saw the room. Dark, dingy, grass bank infront of us, definitely not an upgrade. Back to reception wanting the room we had booked and paid for. We can show you two more junior suites, one with a sea view! Both were better, one with a large terrace - SO WHY WERE WE NOT SHOWN THESE WHEN WE FIRST CHECKED IN?? By the morning we needed to change rooms due to the smell, a drainage or sewer smell, not very pleasant. We enquired about upgrading to the Level and were told that only the Royal Suite was available. We don't have all inclusive in the Level but you can keep it on this occasion. Great we had paid for this anyway! We would receive a phone call shortly to view the room. Waited and waited, went to reception - did no one call you? NO. Room looks very large and spacious with two balconies, one with sun most of the day. We paid the difference and took the room. Initial thoughts were wow, large lounge area, large bedroom, walk in wardrobe, separate toilet and large bathroom. Dig deeper and there are loads of issues. For a Royal Suite, their second best room, you would expect it to be faultless. Very, very dated not touched in the 20 years the hotel has been open. Door architrave falling off or buckling, lights hanging down, plug sockets not fitting properly, the terrace doors not closing fully and loose cord tiles on the balcony floor - actually dangerous. When you then look further at the Level, the 5* part, it is also very run down. The pool surround flooring has a lot of missing stones, walls have food splatterings on them and when we turned up for breakfast the griddle at the omlete and egg station still had the residue from the previous night meat on it, it has not been cleaned properly. The tables in the square were the entertainment was held, had but had the tables wiped in days. We used a wet wipe from the restaurant to wipe the table and it was black after. Staff, other than those mentioned were not great in their service to down right rude not just to us but also other guests. Presently it is school holidays in Spain and the hotel was about 90% Spanish. The service is definitely better and quicker if you are Spanish. The golf club attached to the hotel is an oasis, we went there on our third day to have a look and asked if we co

Stayed at The Level during the first week of June. The service is excellent. The food is superb and my wife who is coeliac likes the way everything is labelled in the Botanic restaurant. My brother in law who is visiting from New Zealand claimed the food buffet is one of the best he has ever had. This is our third visit in 2 years and we are going back as a family of ten in August

This place blew us away and was far more than we expected after reading the reviews. We just flew home after spending my 40th here playing a bit of golf and enjoying some great food and the complex is fantastic. We went 7 days all inclusive. We had a twin room the air conditioning was fine and the room looked nice and modern ( nothing amazing but you certainly couldn’t complain). I was so impressed by the food and the variety of places to eat. With the all inclusive we were able to eat and drink in the main buffet, the beach bar was a Mexican theme and the food was fantastic and even the golf club was on the all inclusive which was great as the food was lovely there and we didn’t have to worry about taking money out with us for drinks on our round. We had evening entertainment every night except one which was always live local singers / bands and was actually really good compared to a lot of hotels I’ve stayed. We also ate out in the Italian restaurant and the meditation restaurant and just had to pay a small supplement for the food but the drinks were still included. But the best thing we found was the staff from reception to the cleaners?bar staff, waiters, golf club staff they couldn’t have been more helpful and all had a laugh. Soo please don’t worry about the reviews this place was fantastic And I definitely will be back.
