Hotel Cabana

Please avoid at all cost, spend your money elsewhere, this is the biggest waste of time & money, the food is the most disgusting food ever, there was mainly Spanish food, we were a family of 8 with 4 adults & 4 children between 2 & 12, we had to eat out every lunch & dinner as all we would maily eat was the bread rolls & breakfast only ate cereals, no entertainment for anyone but Spanish, definitely don't go unless you're over 70 & don't mind being ignored, priority went to all the Spanish, stood at bar when 1 person was being served, a Spanish person came & got served before me, dining room the waiter's would stand & have conversations with their own kind,not much lighting in our corridor, all in all just really rude people, rooms were in disrepair, unfinished, had to use a hair bobble to stop the shower from falling, just stay away for your own sake!!!

Honestly reviews are for people who have booked 3 star and expecting 5!! Don't get me wrong it's old, dated but CLEAN!! Not overly welcoming staff but good enough. FULL of Spanish but neither a good or bad thing, they can be pushy in queues for food or at the bar but again not terrible. If you go expecting a really nice hotel with great food you will be disappointed but its fine! Party of 8 (with one cealic) and EVERYONE found something to eat each mealtime. Breakfast sausages egg bacon cereals fruit cold meals pastries.. lunch hot food chips, meat (chicken pork etc) salad, cold meats desert.. dinner same as lunch pretty much meats, curries, fish, fresh chicken cooked in front of you, chips, potatoes, veg, bread rolls. Puddings fruit salad, cold meats. So much to choose from and decent enough. Rooms were tidy, working hot showers (heating wasn't working but maintenance man was great although was hit and miss the duration of our stay - rest of party was fine so just our room) WE WOULD RETURN! Pool nice clear sunbeds clean nice all inclusive was great 1000hrs to 2300hrs for alcohol. Expect what you are paying for and you will be happy enough.. Also if your wanting an amazing night on the ***** JOKERS is the place to be AND CUJAM UB40 Tribute are incredible. Have the best time Benidorm is incredible.

After reading some reviews I wasn’t very hopeful.. what can I say.. hotel staff were pleasant on the reception desk and domestic staff always said hello, that, unfortunately is where it ends.. we went AI.. there is a long bar with a little arrow showing where we should queue for drinks or snacks.. (snacks are packet of crisps and dry sandwich with ham and some form of cheeseserved between 10am-7pm) to put it in perspective the bar is approx 4-5mtrs long, AI have 1 meter but if a ‘paying guest’ comes to the bar they will be served first! Definitely a Spanish led hotel, no Scottish friendly music or entertainment. The food was awful, as other reviews have said.. we had to eat out every day/night.. managed to eat cornflakes for breakfast a couple of mornings but that’s about it, wasn’t fighting a hundred rude people for a bowl of cornflakes! Bed covers were not the nicest, hard and jaggy. All in all we would not stay here again.. I know you get what you pay for but my goodness I’ve paid less for some holidays and experienced much better service, food, people, soft bedding .. just awful 😞

Where to start probably the bottom of the massive hill or 80 steps to climb if your like me in a wheelchair avoid at all cost apparently the coach can’t get to the the entrance of hotel (funny how all the Spanish get picked up and dropped of daily). We went all inclusive drinks are the only good thing unless you like pig trotter stew, pork cheek stew, fish with everything except head on ,boiled meat the list goes on (you wouldn’t eat the food even if your plane crashed on the way over 😏) this is a Spanish hotel for the Spanish NO ENTERTAINMENT except Spanish dancing and music it’s like a care home as well no one under 60years old and they have zero manners !!! there were 2 couples at the same as us from England that was it

Wow, where to start. Hotel is dated, this you can live with. Its like being in a Spanish care home. The food was dire,awful in fact. Poor selection of drinks. Rude guests. Only an out of date sandwich and packet of crisps between breakfast and evening meal. Spanish guests given priority at the bar by the bar staff. Evening entertainment is only for the Spanish, all notice boards in reception where in Spanish. Cup of tea from bar served in plastic cups. Avoid at all costs.

If you come to this hotel, turn Around and Run... First you will be dropped by a supermarket by your transfer and then have to proceed up a lot of concrete steps and a steep hill, to get to the hotel. The hotel is a cover up for and old persons care home!!!! It is a very dated hotel, in need of a lot of TLC. There is Absolutely No entertainment, unless you like Spanish music and like line dancing... You will have to tolerate the others staying at the hotel being very rude towards you and pushing past you. Especially at the lifts, which are quite scary. The staff are rude and will make you wait at the bar while they serve the locals first, even if they come after you. The food is cold and not appealing at all. I asked for a sandwich at the bar, that is the only snack with a bag of crisps available. It was ham and cheese and was 7 days out of date!!! I told the girl at the bar and she replied "you not want"? I said "No its out of date". She then shrugged and put it back in the fridge....
