Absolutely stunning views but that's about it! Stayed here with my wife and was left very disappointed! Rooms and dated and need some tlc. We was half board but food was awful! We had to eat out most night! Food was always cold. Hotel is up a horrible hill.

We stayed at this hotel for one week. When we arrived, there was a problem with the balcony room that I had ordered. Later, we found out that it was Love Holidays' fault, not the hotel's. The lady at reception was very nice, and all the staff were very friendly. As for the dining, it depends on your personal taste. There are not a lot of options available. Personally, we did not like the food and ended up eating out quite a bit. The breakfast was extremely basic. They had nice tea and coffee machines, but unfortunately, they had them switched off at lunch and dinner. The room was very clean and tidy, and the housekeeper was fantastic.

Overall, I think you always get what you pay for - I wouldn’t anticipate luxury for a 3 star hotel, but I wouldn’t anticipate somewhere unsightly either, and Lido fell right where it was supposed to. The front exterior wasn’t anything to write home about, but the lobby was clean and modern, and the reception staff were wonderful. I’m terrible with names, but one lady in particular (Rosa, maybe?) was a delight, always saying hello, good morning, and was always on hand to help. She was also fluent in Greek, which was a pleasant surprise for my Greek partner! (I know a lot of people have mentioned the process of reaching the hotel, so I will say - it’s quite an ordeal, but that’s no fault of the hotel itself! If you get a coach transfer, they will drop you off at the Burger King bus stop - our driver gave us instructions, but for my fellow anxious travellers, just head toward the beach and walk along until you reach a steep turn-off to the left, after Hot Spot Lounge Bar - that’s the one you’re looking for! Walk all the way up and around on your right side, past the little shop, past the Hotel Benikaktus and Lido is the blue building.) The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were turned over every day, which was nice. There is also an A/C system, which was a huge bonus, but as it’s all inclusive, there’s nowhere to make tea or coffee, and oddly no bin in the main room for the inevitable snack wrappers. There is a safe, which I didn’t end up using, and also a hairdryer in the bathroom. I will say there wasn’t an abundance of charging points in my room - my partner had one at his side of the bed, and there was a broken one next to the desk, so I ended up unplugging the tv to charge my phone (thankfully my wire was long enough - the tv was quite high up!). In terms of food - the breakfast was the highlight, though I’m biased, as I enjoy a good continental breakfast. There was a selection of cooked breakfast items, that varied depending on the day - bacon, fried egg, boiled egg, sausages, beans, etc. A selection of pastries, mostly croissants and pain au chocolates, and some biscuits. There was also a good amount of fruit, yoghurts, a couple of cereals, some cheeses and sliced meats, and plenty of bread for toasting. You can also access a variety of hot drinks, teas and coffees and hot chocolates, as well as orange juice, apple juice and water. Something to note though is, despite it being all-inclusive, you don’t get drinks with your lunch or dinner - you have to buy them from the small bar. I paid €4.20 for 2 bottles of water, for reference. I only had lunch once, but it was fine - breads, salads, spaghetti and a sauce. Also a few surprises - grilled swordfish, for example - and classic foods like paella. Dinner was also fine - the soup was a highlight for me personally - but fairly basic. You can always access some kind of chip / potato and bread if all else fails, but there were a selection of meats available - chicken, turkey, frie

Little gem. Friendly and nice staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Good effort with the food and variety. Overall it's very likeable. The only negative thing isnt about the actual hotel. If you are overweight, unfit, old, drunk or somehow disabled the slope down to the sea front can be a challenge. There are steps to a very rocky area of sea front. Mobility scooter companies dont supply them to this hotel as coming down the hill could be risky. Apart from the outside geography I actually felt a little sad when we had to leave and would recommend this to anyone if they are fit and have no problem with the hill. There may only be 1 balcony on this building but the hotel could not be positioned any closer to the shore, being on the hill actually means stunning views especially at sunset if you have a sea view room. Cannot fault this hotel

Not sure where to begin! Maybe with the Hotels night attendant who closed the front doors of the hotel so he could go around the hotel filming into people’s bedrooms!!! We caught him filming into our daughter’s room and he disappeared out of the fire exit when confronted! After finally speaking to him at reception he pulled out a fake phone and said he didn’t do anything wrong! After following us back up the stairs - we watched him pull another phone, hidden on the first floor stairs and when we shouted him, he ran off! We then chased him to the second floor where he threw the phone from the emergency exit balcony!! This is where his attitude changed so we called the police. They arrived and did what they could but told us we would need to report it to the SATE in Benidorm. We then spent one day of our holiday in a police reception! Once we did that we went back to the hotel manager to speak to him who then had the nerve to laugh at the situation!!! The whole thing was disgusted and handled appallingly!!! The manager tried to downplay the situation but luckily we had some mobile phone footage to prove what had happened! By this point I was done with the hotel! Hopefully we hear something soon via the police investigation but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Stay well clear!!!

Our anticipation for a peaceful getaway was met with profound disappointment and discomfort during our stay at the hotel Lido. Upon our arrival, we were initially elated by its prime location and the warm reception provided by the staff. However, our optimism soon dissipated. The room we were assigned was strikingly basic, lacking essential amenities such as a kettle for tea and coffee, or a fridge. Our first room even had the unsettling discovery of hair under the pillows. The quality of the pillows themselves left much to be desired, with the top ones being excessively firm and uncomfortable, seemingly more for aesthetics than comfort. The remaining pillows were flimsy and lacked any support. The air conditioning unit in the room barely functioned, and the presence of mold around the windows and the air conditioner grating was a significant concern. Promptly, we were relocated to a room with a magnificent view, which did uplift our spirits. However, to our dismay, the same issues persisted, and the mold problem in the new room was notably worse, despite assurances that it had been thoroughly inspected by the cleaning team prior to our transfer. Upon reporting these issues to the reception, we were taken on a tour of the available rooms, only to find the majority afflicted by mold. We were told, shockingly, that maintenance had been neglected due to a busy period. Eventually, we settled for a room that was free of mold, but it still exhibited signs of water damage on the walls. The breakfast offered was disappointingly basic, with limited options. The quality of the meats was subpar, being lukewarm at best, an inadequate experience, particularly for those expecting a cooked breakfast. The hotel's amenities were also severely lacking, especially if one wished to bask in the sunshine by the poolside. The limited space and a small pool made it challenging to accommodate more than a small group of people comfortably. An emergency contact sign by the poolside was shockingly devoid of any information. In light of our uncomfortable and unsatisfactory stay at the hotel Lido, we made the difficult decision to check out and find alternative accommodations due to the poor conditions we encountered.

Stayed at this hotel Monday to Friday , wasn’t expecting it to be great going by reviews . First off we got dropped off at Burger King with no idea where to go with no direction from driver , I know it’s probably not his job but pointed in direction would have been helpful . Well the hill was a killer with suitcases , but we made it at last . Outside hotel doesn’t look that appealing and inside at reception was ok . Got given our room key and took lift 2 levels down and couldn’t believe we had been giving two rooms with balconys as there are only 5 and we were 2 couples , the view is amazing . The rooms have 2 double beds plenty wardrobe space a tv and a hairdryer all you really need if only using as a base , but would’ve benefited from a kettle so glad I took my own !! Rooms get serviced everyday and clean towels . Also down by the pool there is a gate with steps leading onto the beach which is handy for during the day so you don’t have to walk up the steep hill but the gate locked at night . Cannot comment on the pool as didn’t use but we noticed it doesn’t get sun till around 2.30pm After arriving late the night before we went down for breakfast as we were full board , only to be told we couldn’t get breakfast it was lunch and dinner you get on a full board bases !!! I have never heard of this before I thought full board was breakfast and dinner . That evening we went for dinner we went in to have a look at buffet food and turned back around again as didn’t look very appetising so cannot comment on the quality . Would I go back again probably as location was perfect balcony room was great and the roof top bar was great for a few afternoon drinks .

The hotel is very dated. There’s no balconies. There are no fridges we had to use the bath or tea/coffee making facilities. The tv is small and no English channels. There was a lot of noise in this hotel so barely slept most nights. The walk up to the hotel is a nightmare. This hotel is more aimed for Spanish families

By far the worst hotel I have ever booked!. The hotel room was OK apart from the great big screw on the bathroom floor used as a door stop, it was dangerous (room208). THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, looked like something you'd give to the pigs. COLD SLOP. Ate there one night which was a bit of pasta n bread. The next day we all had Diahorrea !. 9 of us went in total with full board and had to eat out 3 times a day. The pool is tiny and does not get sun til late afternoon snd there is probably about 12sun beds. MY ADVICE AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!. The view the only good part of the hotel.
