Reviews of Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort

Me and my wife had a great stay in this property and considerably one of the best… if you are looking for a laid back atmosphere away from the party crowd this hotel is for you… food was delicious and actually one of the best we had compare to other resorts here in mexico and would be one of the best highlights of our stay, secondly the staff here are all nice and very hospitable and lastly the property itself is well maintained and clean… I think the only downside was the beach aspect because during our stay there are immensely numerous number of seaweed(not the fault of the hotel though) i just hope they clean it more frequently…

The facilities were new, and the all-inclusive option was convenient as we didn't have to worry about food costs. However, getting around was very difficult because the hotel entrance is 4 kilometers from the main entrance, and Uber is prohibited. The location is a bit far from the main hotel strip, so that's something to be aware of. You can only get a ride via taxis affiliated with the hotel or through the DiDi app, but DiDi never showed up even after waiting 30 minutes. Hotel taxis are also 2-3 times more expensive than Uber. Some of the staff members were a bit unhelpful. The hotel has a gym, nightly events, and a clean pool, so if the hospitality were a bit better, it would be perfect. If I go to Cancun again, I'd probably choose a different hotel next time (due to the extremely difficult access).

Beach front resort, isolated from the city. Need uber or taxi to get in and out. Excellent breakfast with ocean view, dinner need to make a reservation then you get full service, considering the volume of guests need to have dinners, don’t expect too much. But overall good experience.

The food is decent overall. The buffet can be hit or miss, but the staff and service are consistently friendly and helpful. It’s a little far from downtown in terms of transportation, but the hotel itself is great for families and kids.

The food and drinks were good. It's a great place to disconnect. There's nothing nearby and transportation isn't cheap, so it's not ideal if you're looking to explore the city. The facilities and staff are excellent!!

The hotel generally is good, easy to book restaurants; staff are friendly; it would be great if the foods in the main buffet restaurant could be more diversified; during our 5-night stay, only two night shows in the main theater, were expecting more.

Very clean hotel, great staff, great food in the restaurants.

Great experience, love the great selection of food among all the different restaurants and pop up spots (Italian restaurant and the Steakhouse were highlights) The Asian restaurant was a huge let down as our group are huge Asian foodies. The stars of the show were the staff and service team - Alex, David (Bar), and Venucias* (Steakhouse) incredible hospitality. While everything was amazing and would recommend it is 100% a family oriented hotel and not very adult focused. Some days have activities but not enough for the adults. Please provide more stuff for the adults. Even a pool table or small games would be a huge asset. Overall loved the experience and hope to come back one day. Muchas gracias!

the restaurants require reservation and unfortunately it is always fully booked! food quality is not the best

Good hotel for the price, food decent especially the Italian. Shuttle service was too restrictive and taxi service is very very expensive, check in was a bit poor and the gym staff were very rude.

Staying at this hotel brought mixed impressions. On one hand, the property looks new and visually appealing; on the other, there were several disappointing and controversial moments. The check-in process felt quite strange. My room upgrade request was declined in an inappropriate manner despite my Hilton Honors Gold status. Additionally, no one assisted us in locating our room, and there was no introduction to the hotel facilities- we were simply told to find all information in the app. The room itself was very noisy due to constant traffic from buses and service vehicles outside the windows. A request to change the room was declined, and the receptionist even mentioned that my Gold status meant nothing for this booking. Housekeeping also skipped our room twice, despite the sign on the door requesting service. On the positive side, the food quality was generally good, and the entertainment program was decent, though not outstanding. It was surprising that the bars did not provide a clear drinks menu of what could be ordered. The biggest drawback of the hotel is the beach, which is almost nonexistent. The highlights were the wonderful Kids’ Club staff and the generally friendly hotel personnel, although some bartenders and reception staff were less welcoming. The swimming pool is pleasant, but the hot tubs were disappointing, with noticeably dirty water. Regarding the all-inclusive restaurants, the Italian restaurant was excellent, while the Mexican restaurant was the weakest. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its modern appearance and some great staff members, but improvements in service consistency, cleanliness, communication, and beach access would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The hotel is incredibly far from the main entrance; you have to drive another four kilometers just to get to the lobby. Uber can't reach it, and other ride-sharing apps are out of the question. You're forced to take the hotel's taxi, which costs twice as much as a regular cab. The lobby is always swarming with people, and there's no service to speak of. Check-in is strictly at 3 PM, no exceptions. And don't even get me started on the restaurants – every single one is terrible. I got food poisoning from Maxal, ending up with severe vomiting and diarrhea. If you care about your travel experience, steer clear of this place.

The service was excellent. The staff are nice. All the rooms and the areas were very clean. Only slight drawback was that the room service took time.

This is a great resort if you want to have a relaxing getaway. The staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is not too 'party.' The food is delicious and the rooms are very clean. I would definitely recommend this resort based on value and service.
