Travelodge by Wyndham Benton Harbor MI

I really enjoyed my stay and extended stay. The only issue was not with the hotel itself. I recognized that and the staff,owners and presentation was top notch. For the price I couldn't be happier with my time.

This property is very run down, sheets were stained and the tub and faucet were falling apart. The shower curtain was very old and full of water stain and soap scum. Burns in the rugs from smokers and mildew on the shelves and bathroom everywhere

Would not stay there microwave and fridge did not work. You can see outside when door was shut we had to put towels in the door to stop the wind coming through.

Room dirty and has roaches.... highly disappointed. Couldn't even stay in the room I paid for

We showed up at around 10p. We were barely acknowledged by the first associate, a second walks in and tells us we can go in the lobby that has a sign that says “no entry after 9pm” He couldn’t get into the computer for over 20 minutes, when he did, he helped the small line of people that showed up in the time we were waiting.

Room was not clean, towels looked questionable, entire space was in poor repair. There was no blanket, just sheets. Toilet stopped working before morning. This property should not be branded as part of Wyndham; it trashes the reputation of the brand.

You get what you pay for. I’m sure this building was nice 50 years ago, but all the band aid fixes and bad repairs aren’t enough. The room was okay, pretty nasty around the edges. Everything worked except for the tv which turned on in the middle of the first night. Nothing else too noteworthy, was all on par for this type of motel. The worst part was the cockroaches. We had 3 in the 2 nights there and not much time was spent in the room. Wasn’t sure if it was from the holes around the shower or the gap under the front door. Upgrading to a slightly nicer place would have been worth the money.

This is the worst place I have EVER stayed at. The place was filthy and the office team was rude and mean. I made a reservation with this Motel at 11pm at night did not go into the room until 3:30 am and what I encountered was horrific in BOTH rooms I reserved. There had to be something going on in the area because they were only one with rooms that late in the night. I encountered my first roach in the bathroom, them at the vanity and finally when I sat down to call my daughter who was in the other room, a roach crawl across my lap. I said that is it Im done. My daughter room was FILTHY, the bathroom was disgusting and even had underwear hanging on the shower curtain that looked like feces was on it. Her bed was clearing stained and the floor has literal sand on it. We gathered all belongs to leave. I called the office and he hung up on me, went there and showed him the videos and pictures and he got immediately angry and told me I brought them there and to leave. I called the cops and gave the cop the keys for I was NOT stepping foot back in the units. The Man in the office told the cop I would have to call back on Monday to speak to a Manager to get my refund because he was not authorized. Now why he just did not tell me that, or even offer me another room. HE DID NEITHER. I tried uploading the photos and videos but it keeps saying error.....

This is the worst place ever and I was inside the room for all of 30 minutes. The bathroom was dirty, there was underwear hanging in bathroom and the ABSOLUTE WORST was there was Cockroaches crawling on the wall and in the bed. I called the front IMMEDIATELY and he yelled at me called me a liar and told me to get out. I end up calling the police and had to sleep in my car. Everything reasonable was booked around this area so i had no where to go
