Hotel is centrally placed in front of the station, I had a comfortable room on 11th floor, average size for Japan, very comfortable bed. The buffet BFast was ok, choice of Japanese and western food... A good surprise was the onsen, that I particularly appreciated after a day spent walking, exploring Beppu' s Hells .. The hotel is very clean and tidy and all the staff were kind and helpful, I could leave my luggage at the reception on the leaving day while I was exploring Beppu on my own... Good rate quality/ price, I would go there again, if I were in Beppu again.

Same street of Beppu Tower, closed to long distance Bus terminal, 10 mins walk from Beppu train station. The location is good but the facilities are very old, we cannot get hot water after 15 minutes turn on the water tap. Then we go to public bath, but also take more than 10mins to get hot water. The public bath & public area is old with dim light。They really need furnish to get some more better facilities. The Japanese breakfast is very nice with good service generally.

My wife booked this hotel for us for our weekend in Beppu. We selected this hotel based on the price, parking, and location. It is within walking distance to the train station and down town area. They have parking here which is a plus. The staff was very friendly, the individual helping us spoke great English which made check in/out easy. They have breakfast here, because of COVID, it was not buffet style, but the trays were nice and the food was great. The rooms were perfect, they were modern, spacious, and had everything we needed, plus the bed was comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay here.

While the Rugby World Cup was on the rise, I went to Oita Prefecture for work, and in Beppu, I used the price near the station. Until I arrived, I didn't know that the Rugby World Cup was being done in Oita. The hotel is close to the station, there are many restaurants and convenient location. The hotel is old, but there are hot springs and sauna, and it is an environment that is sufficiently satisfactory even for business use. In the morning, I was grateful for the free service of a drink at the cup drink vending machine in front of the front desk.

　What we chose to stay at Beppu Onsen is ”Bamboo and Cape's Inn Flower Beppu”. ＪＲ There were hundreds of ｍ west of Beppu Station and a large park called Beppu Park nearby. When I entered the building, I was guided to the lobby sofa for check-in. The large partition like the front desk and the lobby was made by knitting bamboo and was very nice. The whole building, including the rooms, is new and very clean. Our rooms were twin rooms named the standard ”maiden”, but they were Japanese style twin rooms with tatami mats and were very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant called ”Kosuke” were very beautifully finished, including the vessel, and it was delicious. I felt that the ”hospitality” of the staff was wonderful more than the facilities.

It takes about 7 minutes to walk from Beppu Station to the hotel. Beppu Beibei Bus Station is two minutes, which is very convenient. But this really has a big advantage: 1. He's right next to Beppu Station and doesn't take two minutes to walk. 2. He has free hot springs to soak, but these are shortcomings that will be described later. Basically: there are elevators, breakfast available, free luggage. But the shortcoming is: 1. The hot springs are going to the sisters' store, which is opposite the station, so you have to go across the station and cross the main road to the hotel opposite. I didn't go to the soaking shop alone because my family was tired, but the sister shop felt great and it should not be too bad. The grandparents at the counter were not very good in English, but they were still very patient to communicate with you. This time, six people from our family came to Beppu to travel, we slept in three double rooms, the room is not small, not much worse than other Japanese affordable hotels, even I think the cheapest room type than APA is bigger! Don't expect the toilet to be big in Japan, just one person can squeeze it. This hotel has everything to offer, everything to pay for, so don't worry, grandparents at the problem counter will help you too! Some people commented on the old hotel, in fact I think only the elevator feels a bit slow, the room is really new, and there is no spider or dirty place during the stay. Finally, I really recommend that if you have come to Beppu, you can consider living in this room. If you want to live in a very advanced hotel, it is different. But if you ask for a high CP value, this is really super recommended!

Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

This hotel is a bit like a B&B, but there is no front desk. It is a self-service check-in and check-out.
