The location is very close to the station, about 3-5 minutes walk. There is an elevator in the hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is large. However, there is no water and kettle in the room, if you need it, you can buy it with coins downstairs.

Excellent hotel given the very reasonable price. Good location (Berlin Ost) for clubbing. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Spotlessly clean everywhere. I didn't book breakfast but will next time as standards seem very high.

Slightly out of the centre of town, but with good cheap transport connections, and only 15 minutes travel time to centre of the city. breakfast and location of a good Italian restaurant helpful, along with self service in reception.

A really clean hotel just a short distance from the centre of the city. The rooms are very clean with all amenities. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome. You have a choice to have your room serviced daily or not, and the incentive is a free drink or snack per person in the room if you choose not to. You can request fresh towels or anything else you may need. My only disappointment was the bed. It was so incredibly hard, and I ended up sleeping in the chair in the room for 2 of my 3 nights (the chair was very comfortable) the duvets and pillows were of a lovely quality. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, 2 out of the 3 mornings there was little to no hot option left and even with over an hour to go before the end of service it was not being replenished. There was plenty of cold options, but when it's -3 outside and snowing, a hot breakfast is a better start to the day. The Italian Restaurant attached was very good, and the food authenticially Italian. It was very fairly priced and portions were huge. Transport to the city is super easy with 2 stations within 10 minutes walk one to the left and one to the right.. the S Bhan was also next to the U Bhan station. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I came to Berlin for our anniversary. We have stayed here before and the hotel is brilliant. There was fresh fruit and Prosecco as a welcome which was lovely. We love Berlin and this hotel allows us to explore other parts of the City that we don’t normally explore.

This hotel was fabulous, we had a warm welcome even tho we arrived near to midnight Khaled was so nice and helpful. This hotel will let you have 1 free drink person each day IF you say you don't want your bedroom cleaned. This could be machine coffee, bottle beer, bottle water, ice tea bottle or bottle of pop. The rooms were clean, no issues. Nice fast shower with good pressure, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and moisturizer all provided in bottles in the bathroom. There was a free hairdryer too and a trouser press in our room. The beds were clean and comfy, 2 pillows each, never tried the TV as too busy having fun with music and chatting. Never used WiFi we just used our own data allowance for zone B with Vodafone £2 per day. You also.gwt a complimentary bottle of water in Ur bedroom with wine glasses and beer glasses in both rooms so that was good also. Free tea coffee and kettle and ours was a basic room. Free and effective safe for our passports. No issues, key cards worked well. Overall a Brilliant stay. I went there with my sister and my Brother shared another room with his gf, it was awesome our rooms were at the end of the hall 218 and 219 directly opposite each other so we could have our doors open and only neighbours on one side of us. The hotel is nice and quiet location and guests, we were certainly the louder of guests when we were getting ready to go out but noone bothered us at all. The hotel has a nice fancy Italian restaurant attached...I think I can attach pics. It was very good food. Pizza, calzone, and a chicken dish etc. See pics. We also had some very good but expensive cocktails there too. Oh...and the location is PERFECT. The U Bahn station magdalenstrasse is just around the corner, maybe a 3 min walk and if u get off at Alexanderplatz is the main place to be and also has connection ls to other lines there. I also strongly recommend you download the lime app for electric scooter hire as they are all lying around, you just open the app, scan the QR code on the bike link a card to your account and then off u go. Then you end trip at other side and it charges u for how many minutes u used it. I LOVE Berlin! Our 1st time and will definitely come again.

The carpet in my room had several stains of various "vintages". The hotel offered to switch my room after I complained, but the issue seemed to be the hotel's cleanliness and appearance standards rather than this particular carpet, so I just stayed. The pictures advertising the particular room type I booked of course didn't show dirty carpets, but DID show a sweet little espresso machine. There was, however, no espresso machine in my room. The hotel claimed to not have any control over what pictures are used to represent their rooms on sites like ******* (I booked through them), but ******* also claimed that they had no responsibility to accurately represent the room in photos. The wifi is HORRIBLE. I lost several hours of work due to navigating this. When I complained, they gave me the special router guests typically have to pay for (for "high speed wifi"), but the person at the desk said it isn't that much faster. Looking at past reviews I could see that guests have been complaining about the wifi for a while, and the hotel has been promising to fix it for a while. There is a phone in the room, but no instructions for how to use it to reach the front desk or to make any other call. Zero doesn't work.

Great hotel, clean, tidy, quiet and a fantastic location. 5 mins walk from Frankfurter Allee U Bahn station. Takes just 15mins to get to city centre and all of the sites. Airport is only 25 mins away on S train and at 4 euros one way, an absolute bargain. Hotel staff were so helpful with information. The quiet residential neighbourhood feels very safe with a selection of restaurants and shops nearby but you also have ability to hop on a tram, train or subway within minutes. We were a group of 3 and had plenty of room with 3 single beds. Loved the small fridge in room, power shower and good quality hairdryer.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It has been great!! 😃 The location is perfect as it's near the metro station, moreover the area is quite nice and silence at night. Staff always super kind, they have helped us with everything we asked. The rooms are new and spacious. I strongly recommend this hotel and I will surely come back here next time I'll be in Berlin.

Stopover on my way to Poland by train. Above expectations. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Friendly and competent staff. Breakfast is definetely worth the surcharge. I will surely have another stay at NH Berlin City Ost on my next trip.

Myself and my partner stayed here at the start of December, coming from Scotland. We were super impressed with the room and the service from the front desk, but the breakfast options were absolutely exceptional. Beautiful bacon, eggs, pastries, and ample servings of tea and coffee, just outstanding. As we got in late on the Saturday night, we got a taxi in from Berlin Brandenburg airport which cost us around €50. But every other day we got around very cost effectively as Magdalenstasse U Bahn Station is less than a five minute walk away, and an all day ticket to get around the city was around €8. Magdalenstrasse is about four or five stops from Alexanderplatz which acts as a central hub to get around the place. There’s also a great little off licence just down the road, and a Lidl very close to the hotel too. All in all, the hotel was superb in terms of location, service, and price. High recommendation from here.
