Grimm's Berlin Mitte

L'hotel è situato in una zona dalla quale si possono raggiungere le principali attrazioni di Berlino a piedi e in poco tempo. Il personale cortese e accogliente, tempi di checkin e checkout rapidi. La stanza ampia e ben strutturata, pulita e con letto molto comodo e pure i cuscini comodi. Il bagno ampio, con doccia grande molto pratica e piacevole. Il wifi dell'hotel semplice da usare e veloce. Nella stanza c'era anche un comodo armadio. La colazione ricca di cose dolci e salate, molto buona. Peccato che l'aria condizionata della stanza, pur impostandola a 25/30 gradi, mandasse comunque aria fresca.

Grimm's Hotel Mitte : Un séjour mitigé entre calme et manque de chaleur J'ai séjourné au Grimm's Hotel Mitte du 16 au 21 juillet, attiré par son emplacement à la lisière de Mitte et Kreuzberg et sa particularité face à l'ancien tracé du Mur de Berlin. Côté positif, l'hôtel est propre, la chambre et la literie sont de bonne qualité, garantissant un repos agréable. Le petit-déjeuner, bien que "maximaliste", était bon, même si un peu plus de variété et de générosité seraient appréciés. La proximité du métro Spittelmarkt (ligne U2) est un atout indéniable, tout comme le bus M29 qui dessert directement Checkpoint Charlie. Cependant, l'expérience a été ternie par un accueil plutôt froid, manquant de cette chaleur que l'on attend pour une première impression de Berlin. Il est regrettable que le personnel ne prenne pas l'initiative de renseigner sur les transports en commun ou les attraits de la ville, laissant l'impression qu'il faut tout demander. Un effort sur l'accueil, y compris la capacité à parler français et à "vendre" Berlin, serait un immense plus. Le quartier, bien que très calme et résidentiel, peut paraître un peu trop dénué d'âme. Pour un prochain séjour, je privilégierais sans doute un quartier plus animé, peut-être vers l'ouest de la ville, à moins de rechercher spécifiquement une tranquillité absolue. En résumé, le Grimm's Hotel Mitte est un établissement propre et confortable pour se reposer, mais il gagnerait énormément à améliorer son service client et à insuffler un peu plus de vie et d'informations sur sa formidable ville. Grimm's Hotel Mitte: A Mixed Stay Between Calm and Lack of Warmth I stayed at the Grimm's Hotel Mitte from July 16th to 21st, drawn by its location on the border of Mitte and Kreuzberg and its unique position facing the former route of the Berlin Wall. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, and the room and bedding are of good quality, ensuring a pleasant rest. The breakfast, although "maximalist," was good, even if a bit more variety and generosity would be appreciated. The proximity to the Spittelmarkt metro station (U2 line) is an undeniable asset, as is the M29 bus that directly serves Checkpoint Charlie. However, the experience was marred by a rather cold welcome, lacking the warmth one expects for a first impression of Berlin. It's unfortunate that the staff doesn't take the initiative to provide information on public transport or the city's attractions, leaving the impression that you have to ask for everything. An effort on the welcome, including the ability to speak French and "sell" Berlin, would be a huge plus. The neighborhood, though very calm and residential, can seem a bit too soulless. For a future stay, I would probably opt for a livelier area, perhaps towards the west of the city, unless specifically seeking absolute tranquility. In summary, Grimm's Hotel Mitte is a clean and comfortable establishment for rest, but it would greatly benefit from improving its customer service and injecting
