Hotel Albertin Do not stay here. Felt extremely unsafe as a group of girls in their 20s travelling. Extremely hostile owner who never engaged in any dialogue with us except shouting at us as we came in and out of the hotel from a side room. After encountering this troubling behaviour we read the reviews and seen that she had a tendency to scream at people as they left and accuse them of not paying. And this is what happened to us. We had insight to peoples past experiences so we just left the key at the closed off reception with the note which is how we initially collected our key for check in and quickly exited the hotel. The women chased us out of the hotel and started shouting at us. No staff visible or present. The reception was never open or any facilities listed on the website available. The building was destroyed in graffiti and looked abandoned and inside was not much different. The beds were damp and the carpet was disgusting covered in stains. We had a shattered window in our room and smoke burns on the curtain. The fridge was vile covered in old food and didn’t keep things cold. There was no glasses or mugs in our room. There was no pillows just empty cases There was poor signage in the hotel no sign posts for rooms exemplify the lack of the facilities. The owner like other people experienced banged doors and shouted at night time. Felt very unsafe walking in or out of the building and would not recommend staying here.

Ich habe am 16.05.2024 das Hotel Albertin über check 24 gebucht. Am 13.07.2024 sind mein Sohn und zwei seiner Freunde – alle drei zu 100% schwerbehindert, aber keine Rolli-Fahrer – extra früh morgens nach Berlin gefahren, um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Um ca. 12:30 Uhr waren die drei vor Ort und wollten Einchecken. Laut Buchungsbestätigung hat das Hotel eine 24-Stunden-Rezeption und Check-In war ab 12 Uhr möglich. Das Hotel war bei Ankunft zu und war bis zum Schluss auch geschlossen. Um 12:56 Uhr erreichte ich telefonisch beim 2. Versuch eine Mitarbeiterin. Sie sagte sie müsse dann jetzt losfahren und brächte ca. 45 Minuten. Danach war das Hotel die ganze Zeit telefonisch nicht mehr erreichbar. Zwischenzeitlich kam noch ein polnischer Gast dazu, der ebenfalls nicht ins Hotel kam. Nach 14 Uhr, die Mitarbeiterin erschien nach einer Stunde immer noch nicht, rief ich dann bei Check 24 an. Um 14:57 Uhr bekam ich einen Rückruf von check24, dass *********** das Hotel telefonisch nicht erreichen kann und eine E-Mail geschrieben hätte. Das Hotel hätte 30 Minuten Zeit zu antworten bzw. das Hotel zu öffnen. Also wartete ich – leider vergeblich. Um 15:47 Uhr nahm ich wieder Kontakt zu check24 auf. Ein Mitarbeiter wollte sich wieder um den Vorgang kümmern. Um 16:06 Uhr bekam ich einen Rückruf, dass *********** mir eine E-Mail schreiben würde mit einem Alternativ-Hotel. Diese Mail bekam ich um um 16:38 Uhr. Nach über vier Stunden konnten drei schwerbehinderte Menschen in ein anderes Hotel ziehen. In der Stornierungsbestätigung von check24 stand wörtlich: „weigerte sich, den Gast unterzubringen“. Wie kommt so ein Satz zustande? Es war kein Mitarbeitender des Hotels vor Ort oder hat mit den Dreien gesprochen. Unglaublich – diskriminierend. Ich hoffe, dass das Hotel Albertin bei check24 und *********** nicht mehr aufgeführt wird. Der polnische Gast kam übrigens auch nicht ins Hotel. Wirklich unglaublich, da die Hotelbeschreibung ja auch bewusst falsch ist. Die Rezensionen der anderen Gäste bestätigen meine Erfahrung.
