Hotels near Terminal D of Brandenburg Airport in Berlin

It's great that there is now the IntercityHotel next to the Steigenberger directly at the terminal 1/2 of the BER. It was opened only mid January 2023. The rooms are modern, practical and chic, like the most new or renovated Intercity Hotels. The staff is very friendly and engaged, some processes must certainly engage in a new team. You are just a few minutes walking distance from the terminal at the check-in, as well as at the airport train station with remote, regional and S-rail transport. Breakfast is available from 6:00 a.m., the light is available in the restaurant, there is a variety of breakfast offer. After my not so great stay in the nearby Steigenberger, the IntercityHotel Airport BER is recommended. I just hope guests will not confuse it too often with the IntercityHotel at the Schönefeld train station, the names of the two hotels is certainly not so great.

Good team, very welcoming, smiling and pleasant. The room is spacious and pretty. The bedding is very comfortable. Small downside in the shower because the water changes temperature during the shower which is not very pleasant. Pleasantly surprised because in the room there was a bottle of water, kettle and tea, coffee... Nice breakfast but.

All building works at this new hotel have now been completed. Rooms are nice & modern. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with many local & branded products. Tip: Ask for a quiet room on upper floors overlooking the greenery. The hotel is regularly served by several bus lines directly from the airport (only 2 stops). The distance is not walkable. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly I don't like to leave bad reviews but I really don't have a choice here. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere our experience here was really poor. Where to begin, I originally booked two single rooms with a friend who cancelled. I took my boyfriend instead. I checked on the website and they had double rooms advertised to book for our dates. I contacted the hotel to ask to change to a double room I was informed to do this through booking.com. I called via booking.com who contacted the hotel whilst I waited on hold. The person informed me the hotel stated there were no Double rooms despite them being advertised on the website. I called on 3 occasions to try and change to a double pod however each time was Informed I cannot because none were available despite the fact each time they had them available to book on the website. When we arrived I enquired one last time and was told I could not do this as there were no double pods. Then miraculously moments later the man behind the desk found one, I was informed I would need to rebook and pay for this room and they couldn't let us swap the booking. This wasn't a good start and I found this really dishonest. The staff in general are very rude and dismissive. I usually enjoy staying in hostels and I am very used to budget accommodation and I am willing to make allowances when things are cheap but there is absolutely no sort of hostel type vibe no friendliness, and no common room to meet people or anywhere to sit or relax in the hostel. Honestly it's more of a morgue type vibe. I didn't have high hopes for the hotel as we made our way there it was not easy to reach via public transport from the airport we had to take 3 different trains. From the station you walk past a street that has a sort of homeless camp set up with mattresses on the pavement. We witnessed drug use as we walked past these guys too. As a woman I would not have stayed here if I didn't have my boyfriend with me as I genuinely would not have felt safe in the area around the hotel. The building you enter is dilapidated and it is difficult to find as it does not look like somewhere a hostel/hotel would be. The escalators are broken and not easy to climb, they are covered in cigarette and joint butts and at night this area smells very strongly of ****. Once you get past this I will say the actual inside of the place is better and it is cleaner. The concept of the hotel is bizarre and doesn't really work in my personal opinion. The pods are cramped and too hot. They are not easy to climb in and out of at all. Mine was actually broken and the plastic was starting to snap at the door which was also very annoying. The lockers we were provided were broken and we were never given different ones. The person who designed this place was far too Interested in the concept of a themed hotel rather than actual function of it for customers. Very well located, close to the airport, clean, cosy, everything in the room is very efficient. The breakfast was generous, healthy and well organised. The service in the hotel was nice and warm. Gods value for your money I strongly recommend

Stayed here recently ahead of an early international flight. This was my second stay here and hopefully not the last. Not only is this hotel very convenient (it took me 3 minutes to get from the hotel to the check-in area), but also very relaxing and quite beautiful. I booked a regular room for 1 through Expedia (it was called “Superior Double Room” in the app), and ended up in one of the larger corner units with a view of the Departures. The room also came with some nice freebies: Vitamin water and coconut chips, both delicious. All in all had a great stay here ahead of a long flight; would highly recommend!

Was hat uns gefallen? - Die Lage - Das freundliche Personal - Der Kaffee beim Frühstück - 12 EUR Tagespreis für die Tiefgarage - Die bequemen Betten Was hat uns nicht gefallen? - Das Hotel ist etwa 25 Jahre alt. Das merkt man. Die Zimmer sind einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß: Kein Safe, keine Kaffeemaschine, nicht eine einzige Schublade, Badewanne mit Duschvorhang und Wäscheleine. Keine Kosmetikartikel (außer Duschgel, Shampoo und Seife), obwohl damit geworben wurde. Ausgefranste, hauchdünne Handtücher (siehe Foto), keine Bademäntel (obwohl Sauna und Fitness im Haus), keine Pantoffeln. - Im Bad roch es unangenehm, die völlig verdreckte und verkeimte Lüftung (siehe Foto) macht eher alles noch schlimmer. - Uns wurde beim Einchecken nicht gesagt, dass man Housekeeping extra bestellen muss. Wo gibt's denn sowas?? Man hatte uns aber zugesagt, zumindest die Handtücher zu tauschen, was aber nicht erfolgte. Das für den Folgetag von uns bestellte Housekeeping erfolgte dann eher oberflächlich. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt, die leere Kosmetiktücherbox ignoriert. - Es gibt in der Tiefgarage weder Abstellmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder noch Lademöglichkeiten für E-Bikes. An der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt, wir sollen unsere Bikes einfach mit ins Zimmer nehmen und dort laden. Haben wir dann gemacht. Mit den Bikes durch dir Lobby, rein in den Aufzug, die langen Flure entlang gefahren und dann ab ins Zimmer. - Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Sehr viel Aufbackware und aus Großpackungen. Die Stühle im Restaurant sind teilweise fleckig und durchgesessen. Auch hier merkt man das Alter. - Mittags haben wir das Restaurant mal getestet. Die Qualität war ok, allerdings fehlten wesentliche Zutaten beim bestellten Salat. ”Die hat der Azubi in der Küche wohl vergessen”. Alles in allem aus meiner Sicht absolut keine Empfehlung. Wenn ich mir die ****-Dehoga-Kriterien anschaue, werden diese nicht eingehalten.

Modern and warm hotel with all amenities of an airport hotel. The SBahn is literally in front of the hote (S9), one stop away of BER. The shuttle from the hotel is 10€ each way. I enjoyed my stay in loginn hotel although it is really remote, like the airport is remote. checkin was super easy. rooms are modern, clean. breakfast pretty much standard. The big difference to me was Sami at the restaurant/bar who made me feel very welcome. When I arrived late the first night and asked for food the kitchen was officially closed but he got out of his way to bake a pizza although the lobby and bar was pretty full. He also makes an effort to talk to guests and speaks a few languages. Thank you Sami for giving this place some extra warmth and character!

Actually, I stayed at the hotel for 6 consecutive nights. The overall feeling was not bad. There was a big window like the inner balcony. The window was opened and the green felt at your fingertips. The only bad thing was that there was a little noise. It would be better to close the window. . My colleague and I opened the window for a few nights and didn't turn on the air conditioner. It felt very comfortable. 1. Breakfast is quite rich compared to Europeans. 2. The location is not the city center. There are local small supermarkets within 3 minutes walk. There are Chinese restaurants and large supermarkets in about 20 to 25 minutes. 3. There is no parking lot, the car is parked on the side of the road in front of the hotel.
