I chose this hotel as I was touring Berlin with a friend for a few days, but he was arriving a couple of days later than me. This proved to be a great option in terms of budget, distance from the city centre and proximity to public transport. Once you come up the steps from the U-Bahn at Siemenssdamm, it’s immediately to your right. The member of staff in the reception was warm and friendly and spoke very good English as my German is not very good after studying it a little at school 25 years ago. The room was large, very clean, and well-equipped. It was too warm for me, and turning the air con down didn’t help, but the window opens very wide. The bathroom also had a bath which was a bonus. The bed is firm which I really enjoyed, but I appreciate that won’t be to everyone’s liking. I’m sure I requested the room not to be serviced but the maid had been in every day. I didn’t use the TV but the Wi-Fi was a little patchy and slow at times. There is plenty of plug sockets including one near the bed. There was a soft light on the floor lamp and a desk lamp which was great. I had the buffet breakfast one morning, which had a great and varied selection of hot and cold food, this included cereals, bread, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages, fresh juice, tea, and coffee. There is a supermarket across the road open till 10 pm, which was handy to get food for dinner. Yeah, it is quiet, and felt safe. I couldn’t hear any noise from any adjacent rooms. If I’m visiting Berlin in the future on my own, I will probably stay here again.

This hotel is amazing from the very comfortable spacious room which overlooked a lovely forest to the beautiful swimming pool to which we had to ourselves, the breakfast was second to non and the staff couldn’t do anymore if they tried to make sure we had everything that we wanted. The lovely little Easter treats every morning was such a special touch. If your driving then everywhere is easy to get too and there is plenty of parking which is either free or so cheap it may as well be. Special mentions for Nadine and Stephanie they always said good morning and took time to talk to us- thank you for making our stay such a special one.

The hotel is nice and very good. It is especially suitable for traveling with children. It is also a good choice for business trips because the floors are very high and the scenery is particularly good. It is also very close to the attractions, basically you can reach it on foot. Will continue to stay next time.

I have recently begun doing city breaks with the family, I am happy with a hotel that is clean, safe and well-priced as ultimately it is somewhere to sleep when you get back from a long day of exploring. This hotel ticked all the boxes, the staff were friendly, the room was spacious and easily big enough for the 4 of us (family of 4 with 2 children aged 13 and 11). There was plenty of shops, bars and food outlets nearby and a bus stop right outside from where you could get a very frequent bus to Berlin Central station (number 245) in about 10 minutes. The only negative I had was our last night was a Friday and we didn't realise the staff had put us directly above a pub/club until that night when the music went on until the early hours. I recommend asking to avoid this part of the hotel at weekends. Otherwise a very nice base for which to explore at amazing value.

The service was good and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. A waiter in the restaurant spoke no German, that should be in a hotel already be in Germany. In our opinion, the breakfast was too expensive at €19.50. But a little fish (salmon) would have belonged to it. In a Berlin hotel I actually expect the well-known ”Berliner Schribbe” for breakfast and no paper rolls. Otherwise everything was fine. Nice also the reduced price for the parking lot at the weekend.

The hotel is 10 minutes drive from Tegel Airport. The hotel is ratedc3 stars but I have some remarks about it. 1. Location is not good if you do not have a car you have to walk up to 15 minutes to buy some fruits or bread. 2. No Male workers that can help you with the luggage. Only 2 old ladies that were there. 3. Reception has no place to store your luggage so for example I was travelling with 2 big pieces of luggage and a handbag I requested to leave the luggage down with the reception and they refused as they do not have space. 4. Also I was allocated a room on the back yard where you have to move with your luggage to reach the elevator you have to climb 10 steps of stairs to reach the elevator. 5. The shower drainage was blocked and taking too much time to drain the water. 6. The room has no telephone so if you need anything you have to go down by yourself 7. There is no trash bin in the room 8. Light is old yellow type which is not good for the eyes 9. The bathroom is very tiny it was too narrow space between the sink and the wall to pass through to the shower. Not good for a fatty person. On the other side breakfast was good and fresh. The room was clean and staff was friendly.
