Sumal Villa

Sumal Villa is an amazing calm place with very comfortable rooms (either AC oder Fan). We slept very well. It‘s run by a very kind and helpful family. The older lady told us a lot about the history of Sri Lanka, their religion, the situation of the village during corona and the tsunami 2004. We just arrived in Sri Lanka and got to know the people and the country so much better through this kind and interesting conversation. We gonna continue traveling south, but on our way back to Colombo in February we will stay definitely here again ! Thank you for everything :)

I gave it here with my mother, wife and child. A quiet cozy place, kind hosts. Fresh fruits and coconuts were served every morning. the beach is a 5-minute walk away.Better places to relax with a child, a lot of local children. The owners were not expensive, and sometimes they helped with transport for free, took them to the store, hospital, excursions. Sumal is a great guy and very pleasant to talk to, like the whole family! Thank you very much!
