Sonesta ES Suites Allentown Bethlehem Airport

Tub was leaking at the spigot, the toilet paper roll was nearly ripped from the wall on the one side, a section of carpet was missed for vacuum. Staff was good. Lots of riff raff around though, can’t say it’s the hotels fault. Litter all over the place. Room was in need of an update and replacement lots of evidence of past water leaks. But overall it was a great price for a suite, not filthy or nothing, room could just use a deep clean and minor repairs. I don’t lose sleep over it due to the budget.

Internet only works when the place is empty. Spent 2 days on with ******* and the place ti get refunded for last 2 days. Staff claimed it was our international phones and gave US a number to call. Not helpful as this number stated they did not service Sonesta! All this while arranging/ attending a funeral! Ended up with loads of data charges- our phones were fine and had WiFi everywhere else. People live there and obviously use several devices. If you have local phone service, you’re fine, then you’ll get free occasional WiFi ! The place is run down, carpet ripped up, hair in the vanity drawer. This used to be a beautiful hotel. Will not return.

It was a great stay for what I paid. I was offered an upgraded suite so worth it!! However The hallways did smell like cigarettes and under my bed there was some old cookies my dog found. Thankfully he didn’t eat them he just pulled them out. There was also a lot of staining around on the carpet. Good overall, next time need to visit during pool season.

I would recommend this hotel to other people. It's very reasonably priced and the staff is awesome. Since it's an outdoor pool, kind of missed out on that. It's freezing outside. Definitely an overall good place

The place was clean. The people were nice meaning the staff. Parking lots were lit up well. Overall, very good place for the price.

Bathtub leaked, light on microwave did not work, should have better room darkening drapes, pillows were horrible! First time around the keys did not work needed new exchanged keys!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Steph was amazing. They helped me with a few situations. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. I have had better, but for the price, the breakfast was definitely good

The place needs renovation; the coach got stains ..hallway carpet stains... The only good thing is the room got kitchenette; dishwasher and a full size fridge ... but some pots are not complete then when I opened the cabinet the plates are cracked and broken ; reported it downstairs lobby receptionist.... I requested a blanket to cover the coach :.so we can sit and watch TV...The staff is friendly and accommodating on whatever you might need to make your stay comfortable...

The check in experience was poor. The front desk clerk loudly announced loudly that my card was declined. I advised that couldn't be the case as i knew i had money available. She condescendingly told me to try myself (it worked with zero issues). She was very, very rude.
