Chestnut Meadow Country Park

It was very warm and welcoming. Bed very comfy, only thing I would say is there should be 2 bedside tables. Definitely be coming back.

On arrival the pod was clean and the heat was switched on for us. The room had a kettle and plates with cutlery, very basic but all we needed.

Very friendly welcome and idyllic setting in one of the pods. Short but enjoyable stay and will definitely be coming back! Thank you 🙂

The pods are excellent, I would like to make two suggestions first as they are meant for occupation by two people there was only one fold up seat. Also, I think a wall mirror is needed cited above the bedside cabinet. I think the pods themselves are brilliant and very warm and the bed was very comfortable.

Requires maintenance improvements The glamping pod looked lovely and was very clean, as were the toilets & showers. I didn't see any staff until my last day when I was able to give feedback about there being no hot water in any of the hand basins in the ladies' washroom (although the showers were great). I also reported that the mattress was very uncomfortable with protruding springs and was assured that both defects would be rectified. I also mentioned that I found the site very dark once the sun had gone down, but it was only later that I realised why that was. Many of the lights installed around the field were not working and some were very faint compared to others. I connected to the free WiFi but wasn't able to access the internet for the whole of my stay due to a very weak/non-existent signal.

Lovely clean and comfortable pod. Ideal for a quiet break. Staff were very friendly.

Overall great stay with just a few tweaks Staff very friendly and pod perfect. Great for me and pooch. Lots of space for her to run around and behind through an access point is High Woods, perfect for dogs. The downer is the rubbish. Bins overflowing and not being emptied daily especially poo bins which is a shame as its an easy fix. Showers are fine but of the 4 toilets one has a broken seat and the other is coming away from the floor. I'm sure once fixed it'll be 5* throughout.

Glamping in a pod I really enjoyed staying in the pod - glamping at the best. I thought the toilet and shower facilities were great - clean - would recommend it
