Room is comfortable and a sensational location overlooking Touma’s square. The welcome was warm and friendly and every staff member gave a warm smile everytime I passed them. So I had dinner here and really wanted to try some different Newari food. So I opted for two dishes, the Bhutan, goat tripe fried with onion capsicum tomato and Newari masala and the Saphu Mhicha, a fried Bone Marrow dish. What a delight, the bone marrow was deep fried encased in buff stomach portion crunchy and creamy if you love offal it’s a go to dish. The Bhutan was equally delicious with crunch and a spicy kick. Great service & the location is amazing - right in the heart of the old city! We were greeted with warm smiles & offers of hot drinks. We enjoyed a meal in the rooftop bar with views of the square & really enjoyed the incredible location- just step outside & old Bhaktapur is right there, just waiting to be explored!

Wonderful stay at Hotel Garuda! The rooms were lovely and the rooftop bar is fantastic! We had the most delicious meal, with a great atmosphere and fantastic view of the old city! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and provided the best possible service during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would absolutely come again! 😊

Great location and staffs were so friendly. The view from the hotel are breathtaking and the location makes it easy to access major attractions. The staffs were friendly and accommodating which made my stay memorable. I will definitely visit this place again

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Garuda during my visit to Bhaktapur! Located in Taumadhi Square, it’s undoubtedly the best spot to soak in the vibrant festivals of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. My family and I had the privilege of enjoying Gai Jatra from their lovely rooftop restaurant, which offered breathtaking views of the festivities and the surrounding heritage sites. The ambiance was delightful, the staff were welcoming, and the food complemented the experience perfectly.
