It's always a disappointment to leave negative reviews, but it's even more so when it's your only annual vacation and things don't work out as you wanted or hoped. While on the one hand the room on the sixth floor was welcoming, together with the impeccable cleaning service and the ladies on the floors very kind and helpful, the real negative side in my opinion was the restaurant service, equally with regards to the quality of the food. food and service (courtesy and competence of the staff). Breakfast absolutely not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel, to a simple request for a smoothie or a simple juice I was personally told to "Go to the automatic machine where there are many types of juices to choose from" (the classic vending machine with the powders), the lack of a juice machine and a few oranges to squeeze is inconceivable for a 4-star hotel. As for the dinner, I was very disappointed by the risottos in general (mostly sticky and disproportionately overcooked). Also noteworthy (negative) was the mid-August dinner where after a good buffet the actual dinner was served. in "company canteen" mode (everyone queuing with their plate in hand) in what should perhaps have been a show cooking but which in the end became an overcooked and almost liquid risotto, a slice of meat with little flavor and a purée that although pleasant, it was grainy and really poorly made, all mostly on the same plate (like at the military). Following some complaints, especially about the risotto, the response was "There are few Italian customers, the Germans like it that way" (the response speaks for itself). I will not go into further details relating to other days with other courses (e.g. clearly industrial stuffed pasta, tasteless Trentino soup, terribly greasy Milanese cutlet, etc.) I would just like to point out and make these criticisms which I think and hope can be constructive and a source of improvement in the future. Having said all this, unfortunately I can only give a negative overall rating to my experience (although I would like to once again applaud the ladies who work on the floors). I hope that these criticisms of mine can be received positively and as a stimulus to improve. PS a small note regarding the beautiful garden in front of the Hotel, there are three broken branches that are visibly and dangerously dangling, one of which is exactly above the entrance driveway. In order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences, perhaps it would be better to occupy it as soon as possible.
