Reviews of Phottage Inn Biei

Had a pleasant stay here. It's about 10-15 min walk from the station. Shared bathrooms and toilets. Only 1 with a bathtub. Free washing machine and dryer (about 3-4hrs) but you pay ¥100 for the launch pod. Free coffee, tea, etc. Beds a bit noisy and squeaky. Whole place smells like pine cos most of the furniture is pine. Place is quite quiet but you can still hear other guests walking. Good thing we stayed with few guests. There's a gap between the bed and wall so depending on how you sleep, might drop your pillow in the gap. There's a Lawson right opposite and a good restaurant, a decent ramen place and some bakery further up.

The location is excellent. There is free parking available, and snow shoveling tools are provided for use during snowy conditions. The interior is very cozy and warmly decorated, giving it a real homely feeling.

Small place. Cramped. When people talk or walk, its clearly audible. But for the price.. its ok.

Did not manage to stay in the premise due to last minute flight cancellation by Jetstar and reached the New Chitose airport only at 8pm! No train service available to Biei by the time and had no choice but to stay in Sapporo instead. Had submitted for cancellation but was denied even though I have even submitted the flight cancellation letter from the airline.

The inn is compact, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed. The lounge had photo books and essays by nature photographers of Biei, Furano, and other places, which I was able to read while sipping the complimentary coffee, and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. I'd love to stay here again.

In winter, if it's snowing and you have to take the train from Biei Station, it can be a bit of a walk, but other than that, it's clean, the front desk staff are friendly, and it's a comfortable place. I've stayed there more than five times. I highly recommend it!

The environment here is great, with all the living functions, including an oven, microwave, washing machine, heater, and basic daily necessities. There are also plates and tableware. There is also space for parking outside. It is very comfortable. I highly recommend this accommodation. There is also a convenience store next to it where you can buy things, which is very convenient. I would like to visit here again!

The room is small and the bathroom is shared. I was surprised to see a raccoon in the room in a shared hostel. The refrigerator is not cool at all. There is no soundproofing at all and the bathroom and toilet sounds are loud.

The hotel room is small, but you can check in early. Coffee and cakes are provided for free. The bathroom and toilet are shared but very clean. The only unfriendly thing is that the location is remote, but there is nothing you can do about it in a small city.

I stayed in a villa room. It was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The amenities were also plentiful.

Very clean hotel. The room is very small. The facilities are complete. But the space is too small to bring children. The owner is very nice and took the initiative to help with directions. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby
