My wife and I were so impressed by the tranquility, meals, and hospitality during our one-night stay in TefuTefu. Mr. Kent Shiraishi gave us a superb experience not only about the stay but also sparked my understanding of the pond and environment nearby. We booked the entire auberge for ourselves for 1 night and it was the best stay we had so far in Hokkaido. From the moment we arrived, owner Kent-san welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. He’s the most hospitable and generous host we’ve ever encountered. Kent-san took care of every detail of our stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We didn’t have time to use their onsen baths but I must commend the baths are the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Dinner prepared by the chef and his mum, was a true delight, with generous portions, delicious flavours, and a comforting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.Breakfast next day was as elaborate and unforgettable. The homemade croissants were the best we’ve ever had. This auberge is a gem, not just because it’s close to the famous Biei Pond, but the high hospitality standards set by Kent-san and his team. My family and I left feeling so refreshed after a restful night’s stay.
