Best Hotels in Bielefeld

The stay was alright but there was no housekeeping service...had to go down to the reception late evening after we returned from a business meeting to ask why and was given a tag saying you should have hung this on the door outside the room in the morning when leaving..went back and searched, there was no tag in the room nor were we told about this..so obviously, tea, coffee, soap all not replenished and took two more trips to the reception to get fresh ones..

Hotel location is good, in the city center, the surrounding facilities are perfect, there is a Chinese restaurant within a few minutes walk. The front desk brother is very polite and enthusiastic, the room is newly renovated, clean and tidy. The underground parking lot located below the hotel is operated by a third party and the parking fee is 12 euros/night, which is a bit unexpected.

Ok, the night is really cheap and the hotel is right at the main railway station - there should be the expectation as appropriate. Rooms were OK - small but clean, not superfluous snack, just a night option. The price is really very good for a city centre location. The hotel has a free parking for guests, not very large, but nevertheless. Breakfast I didn't try. You are at the main train station in a few minutes walk and from there you are also fast in the city centre. The check-in machine has not worked. Since the reception is not always occupied at weekend, the hotline has to run. Fortunately, the staff was accessible and arrived after a few minutes and made the check-in in the oldest way. Such a machine is an excellent idea in itself if the reception is not occupied - but it should also work reliably. Unfortunately, a tube had appeared to have dropped in the bathroom, thus it smelled badly in the room. After all the outflows have been washed, it has been done. This could also be done proactively...

A very nice hotel right in the city of Bielefeld. A parking lot at acceptable conditions is just around the corner (approx. 200 meters). Clean and tidy rooms with nice bathrooms. Fast uncomplicated check-in. We didn't have breakfast because a price of 15 euros is too high for us, we're not big breakfast friends and don't need the great variety.

The hotel is very cost-effective, the surrounding facilities are very complete, and the railway station is next to it, which is very convenient for travel.

Ive been trying to write this review for the last week but my experience was so positive, I havent been able to find the right words. Let me start with this, I did not want to leave home. 3 weeks is a long time away from home! I had to for work. Business travel. However, Staying at the LÉGÈRE EXPRESS in downtown (mitte) Bielefeld was amazing and really helped make my trip unforgettable. Everything was very clean, the view was so beautiful, and I was pretty happy with the quality of food that was served for breakfast. (Much lighter than the heavy American breakfast I'm used to) Lobby personel kept an eye on everything and made me feel secure, no weirdos or strangers walking around inside and the parking lot is very secure. I would have to say most importantly was the staff. The staff was just so nice I felt as if they went above and beyond the line of duty to help you. Truly to make you feel like at home. I'd like to give a shout out to Henk! Hank helped me improve my German very quickly, taught my co-workers and I about local culture, best places to eat, best beer and just oveall made us feel... not so far from home, (if that makes any sense). All while running a tight ship. A true Hospitality professional! I would also like to bring attention to one of the hostesses, Alialexandra (Im so sorry if I spelled that wrong). She is very perceptive and is very fast to help. I feel as if she also is a true Hospitality professional. Literally, my only complaint about this place is the selection of beer that they keep in the kiosk. Thanks for everything LÉGÈRE EXPRESS! 5 stars!

Booked via booking. Parking is not provided. The nearest underground is 500m. The check-in system via the machine at the entrance didn't work. It spent a lot of time. Then the hotel guests said it was a normal story, and that you should call the hotel representative. Resepshn only until 15.00. After our call we began to give advice how to use the machine, but the machine didn't work. We were promised that the hotel will come in 5 minutes. Waited 15 minutes. Then he opened the machine and took out a card for settlement to the room. After us the same difficulties were with other guests. The room is very compact and hot. The window in the yard/to the wall 20 cm/.There is no air conditioner. Awful noise from the ventilation mechanism of the neighboring building 24 hours a day. The night was sleepless. The request for a change of room was refused.We were forced to stay for the second night, as the room was paid in advance. Well, the small things. There was no toilet paper/taken in the general toilet/, broken lamp in the bed/ after the recepshchn was repaired/, the coffee machine is common, not in the room, the pillows ...... nowhere have met such small.

When we wanted to check in at Hotel Wali yesterday, the water damage in the EC immediately irritated us. Our rooms were really in a desolate state. Scrapped furniture, loose cable that hang out of the wall. Shampoo in the shower, polluted heat bodies and defected light switches. It was so bad for us that we went back to the reception right away with our baggage. Your cancellation was immediately accepted and the above problems were put on the cleaning forces, which was absolutely uncomprehensible for us. This kind of hotel should not be offered anymore. There should never be any more!!!!!!

Ausschlaggebend für die Buchung waren Spätanreise und die damit verbundene Möglichkeit des Terminal-Check-In sowie die Nähe zum Zielort. Die Parkplatzsituation ist abends schlecht, man muss auf den angrenzenden Burger-Laden ausweichen. Das Zimmer ist klein, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Internet ist gut. Die Fenster sind dicht, so dass man von der Strasse nicht viel mitbekommt. Für die Kategorie ist alles soweit OK, eher ein Hotel für Monteure und Handwerker; aussen könnte es etwas sauberer sein. Der Check-Out war problemlos, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke!
