Sheraton Birmingham Hotel

Bar was very expensive for one cocktail. Room was not clean as well as expected. Bathroom floors had uncleaned areas as well as the night stand was stain with food from previous guest.

So disappointed in this Sheraton Inn. The traffic noise made it very difficult to sleep. There was a noise cancelling machine in the room but even at the highest setting, the noise was unbearable. The food at the restaurant was very expensive and more like a tv dinner. The hotel overall needed a good cleaning and some updating. We’ve stayed at many Sheraton Inn’s around the country and always enjoyed the stay until this trip. Choose a different hotel if you can.

The only convenience of this hotel is the location to the Legacy Area. Everything else is basic. Upon arrival I was told that the room I booked had been given away and was given a double queen room instead of the king. This was annoying because I don’t want to go to a hotel and sleep in a bed smaller than the one I have at home. Also my spouse is 6”6. I was told to talk to a manager at check-out and that I would be “taken care of.” I didn’t cause a stink because we had reservations and it was already late. On our side of the hotel only 1 out of 3 elevators were working so it took forever to get up to our room since people were stopping on every floor trying to get to another. Overall our room was fine but it was dingy. We had drinks at the hotel bar, those were good. We got food at the hotel bar and literally had to pick the meat off because it had so hard. When I checked out, I asked to speak to a manager and explained the room issue. The lady said, “ I might have something for you on my desk.” She came back a few minutes later with nothing and then said all she could do is sign me up for rewards and give me some rewards. I gave her my phone number and email and have yet to receive anything to set that up. I also explained that I use ******* due to the rewards that Amex has to offer.

The room and the hotel were very clean. It was so easy to walk to the show at BJCC. Highly recommend staying here!

While the hotel itself was nice and our room was fine we unfortunately did not get the king room we reserved. Also there was only one elevator operating and we were placed on the very top floor and in a room that was as far as possible from said elevator. Hotel was kind enough to give us points on Bonvoy account they were not able to refund us the difference in cost for our room or for our inconvenience since we used a third party. A mistake we will not make again

When booking the public parking option was not clearly stated. If you don’t use the Valet option you are left to use public parking…that is all the website has to say or indicate and not show a price which infers that they offer valet and public spaces. Also, the walk from the garage in combination with the location of the room elevators make this location nothing short of a chore to access and maneuver.

Unfortunately we were not able to get any food the kitchen was closed after we returned from the concert and there was no microwave in the room.

Noticeably clean - even the stairwell. Nice spacious room, great bed. Friendly, courteous staff, great location.

Only 1 elevator was working for the entire hotel. Waited 15 minutes and ended up walking down from the 9th floor to check out. Room was fine. Had to park in the garage across the street but there was no one in front telling people where to go.
