Travelodge Birmingham Maypole

Hotel was in right location for my trip and staff was very helpful at all times and also book taxi for us which was no trouble to them . I will be booking this hotel next time we go to Birmingham.

Comfortable bed and a quiet room and a more than adequate breakfast. Friendly staff ,Plus free parking.

Lovely smooth check in, free parking, shops close by, lovely Indian restaurant a short walk away. I’d recommend for a stop off for Cadbury World.

This Travelodge was ok but I had to book last minute and the price I paid was very expensive for what was a very basic Travelodge. I know they say it is based on availability etc, and I get that, but £50 over an average price for this hotel is a bit much! Compared to other Travelodges I've stayed in this was a disappointment. That said it was clean and staff very friendly

We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were as expected for a 2 star hotel and we will stay again as they accept dogs and it is just up the road from my parents house. We booked an accessible room for myself (hidden disabilities) as I struggle with moving from seating to standing without getting dizzy so need hand rails in bathroom and need a shower seat. We also booked one for Mother in Law who is recovering from a hip replacement. Despite booking double beds for both rooms we were given twin beds pushed together which were too low down for me and which due to the gap in the middle caused me a very painful first night. We were told it would get changed and MILs was changed first day but ours wasn't as we had left a blanket on the bed. So we were told it would get changed the next day and it wasn't as he apparently hadn't seen us go out for the day. On leaving he tried to suggest we shouldn't have had accessible rooms if we needed a standard double as disabled people needed the lower twin beds. The shower was missing buttons so I couldn't control the temperature very well. The shower flooded and did not go down during the day but the night time staff were super friendly and mopped it up. I accidentally pulled the emergency cord in the bathroom (hard to tell the difference in the dark between the white light cord and the red cord which were on either sides of the door). The staff were there within 3 minutes. The disabled parking is the furthest away from the entrance so if you need it for distance rather than wheelchairs it is a problem

From the moment we entered travelodge maypole was was made to feel special. The room was clean and tidy and gave us a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and well cooked. Even when we checked out we was still made to feel special. Thank you to all your staff.

The staff are most friendliest you will ever have the pleasure of meeting and even though i do not travel much but i will always choose this location, as its close to the M42 and the M5 for me. I never have a bad word to say about this Travelodge. but this time round i was slighty put out when I was asked me to input my car reg into a new system at reception something that is new and nothing to do with Travelodge. But i gladly did it when the receptionist explained that it was something the landlord had brought out to stop people from parking there all day. Who was not staying at the hotel

Dirty bathroom, unmade beds despite putting sign out, and cold breakfast just a couple of points. Staff ok, very noisy main road and not the greatest area. Travelodge you can do better than this, won’t consider this place afain

Bed was comfy, quite location, great sleep. Room airy and spotless. BREAKFAST Excellent full of choice and quality and staff very friendly and professional with nothing to much trouble. Definitely will stay again as location was brilliant too.
