Travelodge Birmingham Yardley

We came to the hotel very late in the night and met a very polite and respectable receptionist. The next morning I met a lady receptionist. She's also very polite, respectable and professional. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast even though was a takeaway was good. The room, even though the weather was very cold, was warm and very welcoming. Nice and clean white bedspread, soft and very comforting pillows. In the bathroom, the toilet was very clean. There was running hot water. The bath and shower were also very clean. There were also two clean white towels in the bathroom, and an extra two clean white towels were also available. Soap dispensers were also in good conditions with enough soap for hand washing and showering.

Checked in around 2:30 on saturday and called up in advance the lady (forgot to ask her for her name) we spoke to was very nice and offered to take our luggage upstairs as there was no ground floor rooms available gave us extra tea and coffee. She was very polite and made sure we had everything! The rooms are spacious. Hotel does need renovating compared to other hotels but staff are great compared to other hotels.

Hotel was perfect and great value for money. Close to NEC and on bus route into Birmingham city centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good. Laiba and Halima on reception were extremely helpful and able to advise us about the area and places to eat. Ample parking available. Would certainly stay again.

Hotel was a little dated but clean overall. Had no issues with checking in or finding a parking space which is sometimes an issue at certain hotels. Was within a short drive to NEC and was very easy to get to. Very close to shops and a pub (Indian menu with a small English menu). Was perfect for what we needed it for and have no complaints and would stay there again.

Room stank of damp, shower would only work at boiling point, room was dirty - seems to be the new standard at Travelodge and would certainly not recommend to anyone. Not the first time I’ve experienced travelodges like this.

Receptionist was very helpful with recommendations of where to go around Birmingham.nice and quiet location, comfy bed. Clean rooms. All you need for a quick stop over and recharge. One recommendation I would add is putting charging sockets next to the bed in the accessible rooms, one of our party has accessibility needs and can't get up without assistance so having his phone far away from the bed isn't safe. Apart from that great stay.

The staff were very friendly and polite and the room was very clean and everything you needed was provided the bed was very comfortable and there was a Tv and tea and coffee so all in all a great value for your money

What a wonderful place to be for peace and rest Having travelled from London to attend a conference, the facility offered exactly what was said on the website when I made the booking. I liked the privacy.

This is our first time at this travelodge Birmingham in Yardel and Halima at the front desk is very kind and helpful let us store our bags in the back till check in and have us a great room also check again If everythink is in the room is ok she made our stay very enjoying.
